Friendly and welcoming staff. Great location for a walk along the River T**** and grounds with various attractions to visit. Great to recharge your batteries and chill.

The hotel itself is beautiful and my room overlooked the River T****…. Scenery is unbelievable and the view from the window could be on a postcard. The hotel was fairly clean, some of the decor is a little tired, but it’s an old building and modern fixtures or decoration would ruin it. The bed and pillows weren’t great, my advice would be to invest in new mattresses and supportive pillows… it was the only negative but a nights sleep is important. The food in the restaurant was lovely and the bar/wait staff were very accommodating and pleasant. I would definitely stay again and would like to come back for a short break so I can enjoy the local area, rather than rushing off to meet customers.

We loved our stay at Dryborough abbey. It was so comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Look forward to a return visit in the future.

Great staff.... they are the best thing abou Good restaurant ... steaks could have been better Welcoming, cosy lounge grubby worn out room...filthy carpet...dated worn furnishings....in need of a thorough deep clean and refurb Shower and water pressure very poor... Not a place to return to....had we been staying more than one night would have insisted on a room change....

No issues. Lovely hotel, and room. Stayed over new year's. Staff were outstanding. Comfortable stay. Will definitely return!

Beautiful hotel set in stunning countryside right on the banks of the river T****.

We often stay at the Dryburgh Abbey Hotel because of its warm and friendly welcome. The staff are professional and go the extra mile to make a comfortable, happy, friendly a**osphere. The hotel surroundings are naturally very attractive and peaceful with views of the river and Abbey.

Location was perfect for us. It felt remote but was still only a short drive to the village. Visited local areas and easily caught the train to Edinburgh. The staff were friendly and approachable and the room very comfortable. We would consider staying again.
