Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Woburn

Great place less than a mile from the Anderson transit station. Clean, quiet, nice front desk employees. The breakfast was pretty decent too. They had crustless quiche which were surprisingly very good. Comfy beds. I’d stay here again.

My stay at the Residency Inn by the Marriott was great. The day I arrived at the hotel the front desk person was very friendly. House keeping was very helpful when I had a problem with the dishwasher. The only problem I had with housekeeping was when I asked for an extra blanket from the cleaning lady. She took a blanket from the cart that had the dirty bearings and actually wanted to give it to me.

So overall, this is a very nice property, but there were some incidents while we were there. Someone pooped into the pool so we barely got to make use of it. (Pool area is also not the best which was the reason why we switch our stay here.)

Great, comfortable and quiet hotel! The kitchen in room was convenient for times we didn’t want to eat out or when we just wanted a cup of tea. We didn’t eat at the hotel breakfast because there weren’t options for gluten free, dairy free & egg free (hard to come by anyplace with breakfast!) but it looked like the typical hotel breakfast. Our bed was comfy & the pillows were fluffy and comfortable, the shower water pressure was awesome and the water was nice and hot. The commuter train station is very close to the hotel so we rode the train into Boston one day for sight seeing, but we used our rental car the rest of our 5 days there. No complaints! Great hotel for the price!

We felt safe in this location and it was in great proximity to major areas (e.g., Boston, Salem). The staff were lovely and parking was convenient. However, we had the following concerns with the state of the suite: -booked a King suite and were provided with a double bed instead -bedskirt had a few copper stains on it resembling old blood. Also existed on the carpet directly beneath the stain on the bedskirt. -shower drain was closed and tub had water in it upon arrival. -hairs all over the tub and bathroom floor upon our arrival. -large cobwebs on ceiling. -bedding looked sat on upon arrival (e.g., did not appear crisp/fresh). -shower faucet ran if suite above us used shower -could hear all plumbing activities from above suite. -toilet paper holder loose from wall screw, hung diagonally causing toilet paper roll to fall off frequently. -grime on bathroom tiles -grime on shower curtains

We had a great time the only issues we had was that somehow our room was overlooked by ckeaning staff and when we told the front desk they literally only gave us towels so we ran out of toilet paper and garbage build up etc. On our last night there fhe hot water wasnt working, this was resolved later but I still had to have a cold shower.
