The property was very nice. Area was stunning. Internet options were pricey as well as the laundry facility. At check in the gal talked very fast and was hard to understand. She said we had instruction in our room for everything but there was nothing. Had to go back several time to to speak with her. Otherwise, it was a beautiful place. Hope to be back soon.

Location and river view was phenomenal. I was expecting a few (minor) amenities, especially for the price tag , such as a refrigerator or even a small table. The hotel beds are very comfortable and they provided soaps and towels and a micro coffee maker. I would stay again but bring a cooler for items you want to keep while you’re out all day. The front desk staff were the nicest people and helpful in so many ways

The hotel uses a "pay for" third party "Wifi" Internet provider; you have to create an account and provide a credit card to use it. I have stayed in thousands of hotels and have never run into this. In my opinion it is a form of nickel and dimeing their guests and is unacceptable. There is also no desk or counter space to sit and use a laptop at.

best hotel/resort/lodge I've ever stayed at in my entire life. PERIOD. #1. I had THE best stay ever of my life at a hotel... EVER. Best view. Ammenities were awesome, shower was amazing! VIEW, VIEW, THE VIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I can say. WOW.

Clean rustic looking property. This is last night for the season. Check in was easy, they left a map and keys on the bulletin board by office! Friendly guy explained when I called ahead and it was as he said!

Checking in was stressful. The room was clean but had poor lighting. Wifi did not exist or you had to pay for it. We could smell their sewage treatment plant at times. The room was hot with no ac and we had a hard time sleeping. The setting was nice with the river/ Mountain View.

We stayed in C10, second floor balcony. Clean room, attentive staff. Our room overlooked the Nenana River and the Alaska RR passed by occasionally high on the opposite bank. There is a modest camp store on the property with basic supplies: alcohol, ice, fire wood, snack foods. And its right off the Parks Highway. The greatest attraction to DGBR is its proximity to a major new infrastructure project just completed by NPS. The Triple Lakes trailhead is within easy walking distance on newly improved, paved pathways leading to outstanding hiking opportunities for casual walks along the Nenana or for wilderness jaunts up and over to the Triple Lakes and on to the DNP Visitor Center. The DNP Road is only a short ten minute drive up the Parks Highway. DGBR has numerous stay opportunities, camping, RV spaces with hook ups, motel rooms, showers, laundry, and what we are going to check out next time are the cabins located above the main property that have extraordinary views of the Nenana River and the surrounding mountains. Its will be exquisite in the Fall, gold, green and red. Great value, excellent location, so we'll be going back soon.

Everything was fine there. We stayed two nights. However, it was disappointing that during our stay they didnot clean the rooms, do the beds or provide clean towels.

I came from Japan and came with my Fairbanks family. I was able to spend time with my children quietly and with peace of mind. I also enjoyed the view of the river.
