海格羅夫樓賓館(Highgrove House)

Étape dans une plantation de macadamia. Habitation qui semble hors du temps, à l’ambiance Victorienne. Super accueil, chambres spacieuses, literie parfaite et dîner parfait ! Une bonne idée entre Nelspruit et le Sabi sand, dont la route est plutôt une piste.

Pensate di essere in una farm enorme di avocado e macadamia, in una villetta in stile coloniale inglese con piscina privata e un bagno che potrebbe essere tranquillamente un nostro monolocale….in più ci aggiungete una cuoca che potrebbe lavorare tranquillamente in un ristorante italiano come bravura e la pace e il relax più assoluto. Vi tratteranno come un lord a 5 stelle al prezzo di una pensione della riviera, what else??? Un saluto affettuoso a tutto lo staff e alle mie scimmiette da “appartamento”.

Ik begrijp dat je graag een 5-sterren beoordeling wilt schrijven over Résidence Highgrove House in Hazyview, maar dat je wel enkele opmerkingen hebt met betrekking tot de kamers. Hier is een mogelijke beoordeling: ★★★★★ Mijn verblijf in Résidence Highgrove House in Hazyview was absoluut geweldig! Vanaf het moment dat ik aankwam, werd ik hartelijk ontvangen door het vriendelijke personeel. Het terrein is prachtig onderhouden en de omgeving is adembenemend. De faciliteiten in het hotel waren uitstekend en ik heb echt genoten van mijn verblijf. Er is ook een grote spa-afdeling, helaas hadden wij geen tijd om hier gebruik van te maken. Het enige kleine puntje van kritiek dat ik zou willen noemen, is dat ik denk dat de kamers met betere verlichting en enkele kleine aanpassingen nog beter bij de 5-sterren beleving zouden passen. Hoewel mijn kamer comfortabel en ruim was, merkte ik dat de verlichting een beetje ongezellig was en dat sommige delen van de kamer een beetje verouderd waren. Dit had echter geen invloed op mijn algehele ervaring, aangezien het personeel en de service meer dan compenseerden. Het restaurant van het hotel bood voortreffelijke gerechten en ik was blij met de verscheidenheid aan culinaire opties. Het ontbijtbuffet was een hoogtepunt van onze ochtend en ik waardeerde de versheid van de producten. Al met al kan ik Résidence Highgrove House in Hazyview ten zeerste aanbevelen. Het personeel, de faciliteiten en de prachtige omgeving maken het een perfecte keuze voor een luxueus en ontspannen verblijf. Ik kijk ernaar uit om in de toekomst terug te keren en te genieten van deze accommodatie.

Wow is the way to describe our weekend at Highgrove house. From the minute we arrived we were treated well and felt spoilt from the start . a beautiful room with stunning furniture. the bed was incredibly comfortable , the room ,bathroom and lounge was immaculate . an extra special treat was the sauna and outdoor shower. The food was outstanding and dressing up for dinner was a real treat. Would highly recommend Highgrove House for a wonderful weekend away. compliments to Kathy and Tracey as well as the staff for exceptional service .

What a hidden gem. This absolutely beautiful estate has some of the best service, food and scenery I have ever experienced on our many travels. I highly recommend it! If you are journeying to Kruger, you need to stop here and experience this place. You will thank us!

Highgrove House is a complete experience, from arrival welcoming to the most soul enchanting dinner experiences and morning walks. I look forward to going back for another recharging and inspiration for myself.

Everything was perfect in the guest house and the food and the service were amazing. It´s not a 5-star accommodation it is a 7-star accommodation. Thanks for the great time.

If you are looking for a unique place close to Kruger then look no further! What makes Highgrove House truly magical is probably a well kept recipe. If I had to describe it, I’d say that you’d need to mix the hospitality and welcome of staying with family with a well polished high end establishment. Combine it all with the fact that you’re dining in a period mansion house. Top it up with a good measure of peaceful countryside atmosphere and you have the rough recipe for this unique place. I’ve stayed at quite a few high end hotels but these sometimes feel a bit impersonal as they have so many guests. Highgrove is a much more intimate setting and the owners get to know you and they truly care about making sure you have a wonderful and stress-free experience. The room I stayed in was an executive suite which had a balcony and an outdoor shower. It was so beautiful Of course my favourite part of the stay was the food (I love eating), I dine at Michelin star restaurants and this place really is comparable to that. Everything I ate was fresh and combined incredible flavours. The thing that I thought was remarkable and which even high end hotels or restaurants don’t always get right is that here they take into account your dietary restrictions and don’t just pretend to adjust the menu, they come up with dishes that don’t make you feel that your dietary restrictions are an issue and they ensure that whatever you’re eating is equal to what other guests are eating. I am gluten free and lactose free so often I am told at restaurants that it’s too difficult (which isn’t accurate). The chef at Highgrove House baked me fresh muffins every day and they tasted incredible. Also they organised breakfast and lunch coolers for my safaris and everything tasted delicious. My review is effusive but it still feels that I haven’t described how incredible this place is. Thank you Tracey, Johlene, Vicky and all the Highgrove staff for the incredible welcome and hospitality, and for making my time here such a memorable experience.

All I can say it is there is nothing negative to say about Highgrove House It is the most comfortable and friendly accommodation The management and staff are the most beautiful people Nothing was a problem for them when I did have a problem with an allergy and they were so kind hearted taking me to the doctor and making me comfortable I love them all!! - all staff Will definitely return in the near future
