艾爾羅伊山林小屋(El Roi Guest Lodge)

The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, enjoyed jacuzzi and nice braai spot overall the place is ideal for family vacation. Almost forgot children play area and a clean pool. Beautiful garden very refreshing

We had a good stay at the lodge. My daughter enjoyed so much that she didn't wanna leave. We are definitely definitely going back there. I also like the fact that the location is private but you can still have access to other places.

Excellent place, will definitely support in future. Staff very friendly and always willing to improve and assist where needed. Rooms are spacious and very neat. Can definitely recommend this place for the whole family.

We only stayed for a stopover between Kruger National Park and our flight to Cape Town but would have loved to have stayed longer. Willemien was an excellent host at El Roi. She was very responsive to messages and clear instructions were given about finding the lodge. On arrival, Willemien noticed we were travelling with an infant and gave us a free upgrade to the large cottage with a bath. She also easily accommodated an upgrade for my mum to a sunny and larger room. We ended up spending more time in the sunny room as the large cottage was quite cold and a bit dark but it had plenty of space. While they had no food options onsite, Willemien organised pizza delivery for us on her phone and gave us good advice for places in White River to eat. We would happily return here in future.

The accommodation was excellent and also the service, will recommend to anyone, the rooms was very clean and also a fully Furniture'd rooms and the staff and owner was very accommodating, is close to town and also very safe with very good securirty

Amazing place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Relaxing atmosphere if you want to get away from the bright city lights. Huge swimming pool & play area for the kiddied. Even a mini driving range so Dad can practice his golf shots. Can't wait to go back. I highly recommend Elroi Guest Lodge.

a distance from the village after a piece of unpaved road you arrive in an oasis of peace where you will be welcomed by a very friendly hostess. The lodge is spacious and even when fully occupied it feels private. Our apartment had 3 bedrooms and a private garden with jacuzzi. The bathroom is relatively small, but adequate. However, the accommodation is very noisy, both between rooms and with the apartment located directly next to it. But after a day of swimming and pool everyone slept like a log.

The place is great, from the cleanliness of the rooms, to the lady who was assisting, very friendly and helpful lady. Only downside was the breakfast price, the booklet in the room stated that breakfast was R85 per head but we had to pay R125 per head which was so uncool. Overall great place.

We chose this place to be near the airport KMIA. It was only seven minutes by car to the airport so that was good. It is also quite near Numbi gate in Kruger Park if you want to entry that gate. (45 min) The lodge was very nice and cosy and easy to find even if it was not on the main road. We lived in cottage no 3 and this includes a private jacuzzi. Sadly we didn't use the jacuzzi because of some mix up from the staff together with load shedding but we had a very nice stay anyway. The cottage was big for two persons but sometimes it is nice just to have extra space. We didn't use the kitchen facilities but it seemed to be well equipped. We could easy have stayed for many days. The owner was great and compensated us for not being able to use the jacuzzi so we were satisfied anyway. The breakfast was very good and well made.The wifi was not so good in our cottage but was very good in the reception/breakfast area and that was only about 40 meters from the cottage. The owner recommended some restaurants and we chose one of them, Magnolia, and were very satisfied. It was possible to order food with delivery to the lodge and the owner said that she could help us order but we chose to go to Magnolia in stead and we were very pleased. It was a very familiar and friendly atmosphere at the lodge and we will definitely stay here again if we will return to these neighborhoods. Thank you Willemien for making our stay memorable.
