Buena ubicación Personal muy atento y muy buen ambiente recomendable

We were looking for a hotel out of the City bustle but with good Metro links. We were checked in by a very surly membe of the Reception team and had no further contact with Reception until we checked out 5 days later. Large, comfortable rooms although very limited wardrobe and drawer space. We upgraded to a Marina view room which gave us superb views day and night - also a lovely balcony for enjoying a picnic lunch and evening drinks. The bathroom was huge although the lighting not the best. Breakfast was well organised with tables available outside and inside. A couple of mornings we think they had recruited some agency staff to check guest's room numbers as they arrived. Unfortunately they were dressed in their black agency uniforms clutching a clipboard and looked more like maintenance staff or security guards - not acceptable in a 4 star hotel. The Metro station is opposite the hotel and just a 5 minute walk without luggage but around 10 minutes if you don't wish to use the stair way underpass.

Accueil à la hauteur ainsi que la prestation hôtelière à tous niveaux: on se sent en sécurité, de plus les chambres et l'hôtel en général sont propres. Parking payant, heureusement les chambres sont climatisées. J'aime cette station balnéaire et touristique en bord de mer. Je recommande cet hôtel.

El hotel está bastante bien, pero se nota que ya tiene unos años y le falta un poco de reforma. El servicio es muy bueno y el desayuno también. Es un hotel tranquilo. Cuando fuimos no había mucha gente.

Es un hotel ubicado en un polígono, junto al circuito de Montmelo, en nuestro caso ideal para hacer una parada en el camino a Francia. El personal amable y atento, aconsejándonos dónde era más adecuado cenar y dónde no. Todo el personal de 10, tanto recepción noche, como recepción mañana, como desayuno. El hotel muy limpio, con la calidad estándar de esta cadena, cómodo, habitaciones correctas y con detalles.

Staying at this hotel right now, family with young kids. Excellent hotel, they do full board (not all inclusive) but drinks prices are reasonable. Breakfast includes coffee and juices in full board. Water with dinner is €2.50 for a little bottle. Excellent Estrella lager is €2.10 for 330ml bottle. Wine bottle around €10-14. Food is excellent, staff keep replenishing the buffet. Beware that large French teenage school groups come here and they queue up on the buffet, but they are very well behaved and the restaurant is very welcoming even with so many teenagers. Seems French teachers are great! Hotel is well maintained. Location is excellent, 1 minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes to main shopping area, a street that is few miles long & pedestrianised. Train station is 10 minutes walk from where you can take train to Barcelona for a day trip or for a few hours. Return ticket to Barcelona is €11.80 but family of 4 can get a family ticket for €37, there are no children's tickets so everyone is classed as an adult. Beware that this family ticket is only available from ticket machine and not window, ask Renfe train guys in yellow jackets to help buy from machine. Hotel has lovely small pool and adjacent kids pool, key word being small. Please understand that there are resort hotels in resorts that are larger with larger rooms and pools. Bernat II is a city type smaller hotel with smaller rooms, restaurant and pool but it's in a lovely resort town of Calella, so rather than stay inside all day in a resort hotel, you can step out between breakfast and lunch and again after lunch and have a varied time around town without taking cabs or public transport. There is local road bus that takes you around all old town and covers most hotels for €3 adults and €1.50 kids. Hotel staff very friendly, cleaning staff excellent, reception very helpful, all speak good English. They don't push you to buy drinks. There is no pressure to tip. Overall this place is better than city centre and resort hotels with benefits of both types. We booked package through easyJet with transfers included from Barcelona, beware that landing at Terminal 2C and waking to terminal 2B for transfer bus takes 15 minutes with your luggage, buggies and kids in a trolley, but not that difficult. Overall, highly recommended. I think Bernat II has excellent management to maintain such high standards, good work guys.

I visited this hotel in June and July. It had been recommended to me by a friend, who was in the nearby hospital. I think the price quality is excellent. The staff were very helpful too. 24 hour tea/coffee making is very welcome and the buffet breakfast had a range of options, the fruit being the best. There is a Mercadona next door and some pleasant walks nearby. The hotel is situated 30 minutes walking distance from the centre, or about 8€ in a taxi

If you are here for a business trip and you have a car is the place to stay. Great terrace, clean rooms and good location. Decoration is classy and breakfasts generous. The pool area is socio us and the location and views are great. Walking distance to the town and 20 min to the beach by food.
