辛哈拉賈森林門(Sinharaja Forest Gate)

We stayed in a nearby accommodation of this hotel at the edge of the beautiful Sinharaja forest. Sri Lanka is proud of this area and is trying to conserve it. We came to this specific area to enjoy nature, but that was difficult because of this hotel This hotel is at about 20 meters from the entrance of the forest. The whole afternoon and evening there we there were people partying and much more bothering, they played very loud music which you could here for hundreds meters around, in the naturereserve and all the surrounding hotels. The owners seems to be okay with that. We've heard that this happens more and more often and we would advise not go this place if you like nature and the sounds ans smells of the rainforest. For us the stay nearby this hotel was a total disappoin**ent. We hope this changes in the future,otherwise we can't recommend this area close to the gate to other visitors

This establishment is disgusting and shouldn’t be allowed to trade as a hotel. I opened the door and the room hasn’t been clean. It wasn't very pleasant. The rooms were dirty and the bed sheets had stains on them and disgusting toilets with no locks. The food was utterly atrocious. I was so displeased with my stay. I cannot believe I paid for such a nasty, unsatisfying stay. But the staff were very friendly and accommodating with very limited resources.
