I came up there for the weekend for Valentine’s Day with my husband. We wanted to hit the ****** and relax and enjoy. Instead, we got woken up at 6 AM on Saturday and 5-5:30 Sunday by loud kids and when I told someone about the loud noise on Saturday night I was informed that he already handled it but the noise continued kids was rubbing the halls, parents was in the lobby drinking beer I just didn’t enjoy my time away from my reality (im a mom of 4) I had a family member watch my children. The room was nice, breakfast was not the best but we went to dennys instead. Just had to many kids running the halls and doors slamming and all the above!

Our stay as a couple at this hotel it was very impressive. First because my wife its a clean freak and she was happy with the room (wich mean 5* cleaning).Second it was the very quiet location and closed to the ****** also.The only suggestion we have its the breakfast shoud be lil better quality. The overalls our stay it was great.

Was told room would be ready at 3pm, when returned at 3pm, told to give it another hour. When asked what else could be done, offered a smaller room with smaller bed. When I pushed back about the delay since check-in says 3pm, a room at the size reserved was discovered. While passing the front desk to return the luggage cart, a piece of hardware broke off while going over the bump into the vestibule. I mentioned it to the same female desk clerk, who told me "you can pick that up and bring it to me". The room was clean and met expectations, but the lack of good customer service from the clerk was disappointing.

We had a family wedding to attend & this hotel served its purpose as a place to sleep. Unfortunately our room was right next the stairs & the elevator wasn’t working. People were stomping up & down late & early. On a positive note, it was close to the venue located right off the highway next to a gas station & Denny’s, which was convenient.

Front desk was great. Arrived early, she found a room available for me. I didn’t have a shower curtain. I found a housekeeper cleaning a room down the hall. She was so sweet. She grabbed a shower curtain asap and hung it up. Thank you! Staff was awesome and room was very clean.

Great location! We are a family with 2 kids. Clean facility, clean room and comfortable! Staff were outstanding the whole stay. Pool was perfect for the kids. Breakfast was excellent. Safe parking area. We will definitely come back here. Area and downtown Marshall is outstanding!

Old hotel renovated so looks like other from brand but major issue are bathroom, they were just partially refreshed.

Upon arrival I was informed the elevator was out of order. The customer in front of me got a discount due to this. Because I booked through **********, I couldn’t get any discount and was stuck paying over double that persons rate. The hotel itself was ok, staff was fine, but this inconsistency is simply unfair.

It's presented as a 2 star Holiday Inn Express and pretty much meets that criteria. It was clean and well maintained though the repair of the doorknob and lock on one interior stairway door raised questions about how it came to be so badly damaged and yet repairable. The stairs were carpeted and painted. The breakfast required flexibility during my stay as different items were not in fact on offer such as the advertised cinnamon rolls, cartons of milk, fruit beyond oranges, among other. But whether this was due to supply shortages, failure to order new supplies in time, or the presence of a traveling youth baseball time over the weekend was not clear. The clearly older building did not provide complete soundproofing as I could hear barefeet walking in the room above me and noises from both adjacent rooms and the hallway - but none of these was sufficient to really interfere with sleep for example (there was also traffic noise from the adjacent interstate highway but that was more a reminder of convenient location rather than an obstacle to sleep. The small pool was more for splashing than swimming but was in use as was the small exercise room adjacent to the pool, which I took as indications that they were satisfactory.
