米婭馬拉喀什地球飯店(Terra Mia Marrakech - Riad)

Oh dear....oh dear We are a family of three. I booked this place for three nights with the hope that it would provide a relaxing haven for my family....just outside the hustle and bustle of Marrakech , and a charming place to spend New Years Eve I will presage this review (because its going to be stinker) with the statement that I don't like leaving bad reviews. I have a live and let live attitude and when I see poor people struggling and trying hard I think its unfair to hit them with criticism for not reaching unachievable standards However Terra Mia is a premium guest house pitching itself as a higher standard luxurious place to stay not a budget hotel Let me also say that I have not asked the owner for a refund, or for anything in fact. And even if they had proffered us a refund I would still leave this review Here is the quick read : We are leaving early to get out of the place.....despite losing money on the room Unhealthy levels of smoke from an open fireplace inside the building (the main reason I'm leaving a bad review) Noisy permeated by smoke every evening Cold smoke polluted Poor value/poor quality Did I mention it is smoky in here? Read on for the detail : ) The Good The staff were outwardly polite and tried to be helpful up to a point The Riad was tastefully decorated, spacious grounds, largely well maintained and clean They offered to put an additional bed in our room the first night and to put us in a slightly larger room for the second night. However when I saw the room on the second day it contained two single beds again. I thanked the girl but said we might as well stay in the room that we were in.....however she insisted that they would place a "grand lit" in the room so I agreed. Unfortunately when we returned from our day out in Marrakech...sure enough they had moved our stuff into the new room. Unfortunately again it had two single beds pushed together....and we had no electric radiator (which at least we had had in the first room) The Bad They clearly don't understand the difference between a twin bed room and a double bed room We booked a double bed room @Terra Mia two single beds pushed together isn't a double bed ! We are not even talking about zip link mattresses here either.....literally two single mattress beds pushed together....with a gap down the middle! doh! The beds had hard cheap looking mattresses There was hard crackly plastic sheeting (think cheap restaurant table covering - see photos) under the cotton mattress sheet @Tera Mia !! There are are breathable soft waterproof mattress coverings....you can do better than putting a sheet of plastic under the bedsheets!!!! The owners might speak English but they were largely absent and the lady that is left to run the House only speaks French and Arabic. There was no guest guide in English in the room It is therefore somewhat misleading in my opinion to suggest that English is spoken The breakfast was poor and cheap...possibly the most basic

Le riad est éloigné du centre de Marrakech, 30min de taxi, et tous les taxis pour rentrer au riad n'ont pas l'autorisation d'aller aussi loin. Le gérant vous demande de régler des votre arrivée, attention les cb visa Premier ne passent pas avec son terminal. Les chambres sont propres, même si vétustes.

Un désastre! La villa était très belle. Mais elle était tout aussi dysfonctionnelle: pas de climatisation (dès que nous avons passé la porte et pendant toute la nuit et la matinée jusqu’à notre départ). Ni de prise électrique qui fonctionne. Le personnel ne parlait presque pas français ou quand il prétendait le connaître ne comprenait rien à ce que nous disions. Il a eu un mal fou à ouvrir la porte verrouillée du jardin. Mes enfants ont trouvé le petit-déjeuner frugal soit très léger. Le geste commercial de l’hôtel s’est élevé à une vingtaine d’euros et à nous offrir la navette de l’hôtel (normalement les hôtels 4 étoiles ne font pas payer la navette de l’aéroport). L’hôtel nous a aussi offert la navette de départ, mais comme elle avait plus d’une heure de retard sur l’horaire convenu, nous n’avons pas profité de cette offre. Nous avons donc passé notre séjour au Terra Mia à gérer les dysfonctionnements de l’hôtel et à préparer notre départ précipité de cet endroit terriblement décevant qui a abusé de notre porte monnaie et de la description qui en était faite sur son site (puisqu’il n’y avait pas de clim ni d’électricité, ni de service digne d’un 4 étoiles)

Wir buchten das Hotel wegen des privaten Parkplatzes für unser Motorrad. Dann suchten wir die Rezeption, die leider unbesetzt war und nur das Zimmermädchen, das kein Wort Englisch sprach, stand da und wusste nicht weiter. Mein Mann rief dann den Manager an, und dieser sagte, er würde in 2 Stunden da sein. Wir warten jetzt noch auf ihn. Im Zimmer gibt es nur eine Steckdose, willkommen im 21. Jahrhundert. Das Restaurant das in Booking beschrieben wird, existiert nicht wirklich und alles erinnert mich an einen lost Place. Eigentlich wollten wir drei Tage in Marrakesch bleiben aber in diesem Haus auf keinen Fall. Wir suchen etwas Neues jetzt. Es gibt keine Rezeption und schon gar kein 24 Stunden Service Niemand spricht englisch. Erst am Abreisetag stand dann die Managerin vor uns um die Bezahlung des Zimmers zu kassieren. Das Haus steht irgendwo im Nirgendwo. Das Interieur in der Halle ist hingegen sehr geschmackvoll, aber alles wirkt verlassen. Noch einen Tag und ich hätte Depressionen bekommen. Das Frühstück war aber ok

Au milieu de 6 hectares de végétation. Le calme et la nature sont propices à la détente. Notre hôte Malika est toujours disponible, mais à mon goût trop respectueuses de la tranquillité de ses clients. Pourtant elle a beaucoup d'informations et de belles choses à vous partager. Même si elle s'excuse toujours de déranger, n'hésitez pas à aller vers elle, elle vous parlera peut-être de l'histoire de cet endroit où de la pâtisserie de son fils installé à Marrakech et riche d'une solide expérience à Paris. La piscine est nettoyée tous les matins. La cuisine est traditionnelle, c'est comme si vous étiez chez une famille marocaine. Tout le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours avec le sourire, qui que vous soyez.

we liked EVERYTHING about this Riad.Great service, beautiful surroundings, great services (facial, massage, free excellent breakfast, lots of privacy. WE WILL BE BACK!
