河石旅館(River Rock Inn)

Security bolt on room door was broken. Very unsafe aa only lock to room was doorknob lock. Room keys were left outside front office and no staff on duty at 4:00 PM. Coffee maker was dirty with old filter packet in unit.

Water in shower And sink cold despite all attempts. Attendant not at site to report. Apparently there only briefly if at all. Rooms clean and comfortable but need staff support. Would avoid.

This was one of the coziest places me and my wife have ever stayed in! The room was super clean, bed was very comfortable and the service made you feel very welcomed! I am definitely going to recommend this location to all my friends and family who decide on visiting.

The room was charming. There's no shelf space to put any of your personal stuff, especially in the bathroom. The shower is too small. I barely had enough room to lift my legs to wash my feet, and the water I could not get to a happy medium. At one point there was no hot water and I had to continue my shower in cold water, then all of a sudden the hot water came back. Stephanie was very nice and professional. I would stay there again just because of her. All hotels should have employees like her. Just fix the other issues.

All was good except the inn i had booked. It was like a barn with multiple rooms.

I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to check in early. That was my first impression. I appreciated being able to do that. I was only disappointed with my room as it was under the cafe, and I thought I was in for a noisy night. However, when the cafe closed, it was nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and I got a good night's sleep. The bathroom was different than expected. Very retro...

The rooms were charming, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the on-site cafe was closed for the holiday weekend so we did not get to have breakfast there.

This place is a hidden gem!. Clean quiet, convenient all at an affordable price. We use Mariposa as a base for Yosemite. We will be back and will recommend River Rock to friends.
