Although this hotel may look very modern on first impression, the cleanliness and the dining experience was very poor and that lets this hotel down so much. Check-in was easy and quick, the on-screen instructions to get your card was very easy to understand. The room had dust everywhere, the white kettle was brown, a used tissue was under the bed (this was only noticed as I dropped an item on the floor and it went under the bed), the carpet had not been cleaned. On using the shower the water was very slow to drain away, I picked up the trap and it was so full of hair I could see why. My partner and I used the restaurant, the menu is good and the choice is large but when the food arrived we had to send it back. We ordered the mixed grill and fish & chips, the grill was cold and the fish was swimming in so much grease it slipped off the plate and the batter was like rubber. Replacement came but we were no longer enjoying it and wished we had cancelled and gone out. We won't be using this hotel again. The hotel was very busy and there was other people having issues so as we were only there for one night we just put up with it.

This is the 2nd time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel. We were on the 8th floor and 1st impressions of the room were that it was clean and had everything typical of a Premier Inn. However, the mattress was ‘worn’ It had a huge dip in the middle which caused both my husband and I to get a really sore back. We don’t normally struggle with back pain and normally the beds at Premier Inn are comfortable but, this was unbearable, we even resorted to putting the duvet on the bottom of the bed which helped a bit but then we were cold! We had breakfast the following morning and the toilets nearest the restaurant were also filthy which was disappointing. Such a shame as this hotel is in a great location.

This is an example of cost cutting gone too far. No reception to check in with you have to wait for a member of the bar staff to stop serving drinks to come and check you in. And the rooms are only accessible through the bar. There should have been a warning on the website to this effect. For someone that does not drink it’s not very pleasant to have to check in a bar that smells of beer. To make things worse the bed is the lumpiest bed I’ve ever stayed in. This is not up to the normal Premier Inn standard and will not use the motel again.

Location, value and comfort all excellent. Very handy for the station. Taxis buses and trams all close by. Short walk to the city centre. I Invigorating power shower Good choice of food and drink. Safe and secure with key entry system

Staff were v friendly (can only remember Joe's name, but all staff were amazing!). They were always happy to help and answered my stupid questions with patience and humour! Hotel was close to the station, clean, comfortable bed.

Disappointing service, There was an issue with the AC and it took them 3 hours to allow me to change rooms. I was later changed to a dirty room with mold smell. I was there for business and I had early meetings. I could have had a better night had I slept at the station rather than this hotel.

We have used this hotel a few times in the past, and always had a good stay and rooms and staff great. On this occasion we arrived into a new funky Social space,looks great Your are virtually forced to check in with the kiosks as staff are a little sparse. We arrived 50 mins before the 3 pm checkin. I asked If the room was ready, was advised we could checkin early for £10, we chose to wait the 50 mins to check in. We were given room 1010 on the 10th floor a Premier Plus room. On first inspection the room looked good. But dive a bit deeper and they room is tired and worn. The previous occupants thought using crayons on the walls was a good idea. The seating is well worn and fraying. The bathroom required a good scrub as tile grouting staring to get mould. The shower dispensers only had body wash no shampoo. The premium you pay for this plus room on this occasion was not worth the extra cost and the room needs a good servicing and deep clean. With seating replaced . I will try and attach some pictures

Location is close to train station & city central. The external carpark just opposite charged GBP11 for 24 hours by hotel guest special price is reasonable, Room sound insulation is no good. I can hear the next door open & close and spoke outside. We stayed for two day. Informed to reception to clean up the room which we found failed when return to hotel room at nighttime. There is no telephone in the room. We need go down to G/F request the towel which is ran out. Waited for an hour send to room by staff. Even overall experience is not good. But all the staff in hotel are very kind & nice to customer.
