威爾伯頓旅館(Wilburton Inn)

My family and I planned a long weekend together and chose Battenkill Valley Mansion. My siblings and I range from 71 to 60 years old and the “children” range from 38 to 25 years old. There were 18 of us who made it for the weekend and as critical as my family can be there were really no complaints. The beds were comfortable and the showers were wonderful. Best of all was that all the guest rooms we used had en suites. Having a private bathroom is priceless. Everything was clean and even my sister who cleans her hotel room and bathroom before settling in when she travels, didn’t feel the need at all. The furnishing are not new, but comfortable. You felt like you were in a home not an impersonal hotel. We would definately consider staying here again.

We had a large family gathering, occupying two homes: The Battenkill Mansion & the Green Mountain House. Both were warm, comfortable and accommodating for our guests ranging in age from 1yr to 75 yrs old and 1 mini poodle. The kitchen was very well equipped for preparing meals for nearly 50 guests. The grounds were spacious, clean, quiet and enticing. We gathered for watching sporting events in the "Great Room, found quiet spots for reading and power napping and small spots for card games, board games and chatting over a cup of coffee and fresh made cookies. Management could not have been more welcoming, accommodating or responsive to questions or more helpful with suggestions for activities. Melissa even showed up and helped us with securing a family photo. Her little dor was a big hit as well. Both houses were just what we needed, providing a real sense of comfort and being at home. The Wilburton is a truly special place. My family and I read about it in Yankee Magazine which featured its annual Doggy Slumber party. The mansion (main part of the inn) was decorated so beautifully for Christmas and the party was amazing. A chartreuse from NYC performed Christmas songs as we sipped champagne and delighted in the warmth of the season. Melissa (owner) couldn’t have been more accommodating and was genuinely so happy to host and entertain the guests. We stayed in the Presidential Suite which was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. It even included a full kitchen and laundry room— perfect for our family trip! A magical stay for sure and we will come back annually to enjoy this new family tradition at the most lovely Wilburton Inn!

We are a large group of family friends that have been coming to various homes owned by Wilburton Inn family, for 7 years now. There are 12 adults and 29 kids among us and these homes have hosted some of our favorite memories! As the kids have gotten older, we find the accommodations to be spacious and comfortable and enjoy all the amenities. We love the Vermont charm, beautiful decor, lovely linens and gorgeous views, as well as proximity to Manchester and skiing. The owners are so friendly and caring, they have made our repeated stays so pleasant and that’s why we keep coming back! Whether it be arranging grocery deliveries, cleaning or catering, they are happy to help in any way. Our reunion is the highlight of our year and one of our favorite traditions.

I can't recommend the Wilburton Inn enough- it's an absolute delight! We've now had three years of holiday family weekends at the Battenkill Mansion and have loved every second of our stay. It's close to the beautiful town of Manchester, has beautiful and comfortable rooms, a lovely family room and a wonderfully appointment commercial kitchen. I'm a chef and really appreciate the beautiful range, dual ovens and best of all- 2 dishwashers! Every year there is a lovely decorated Christmas tree, which adds to the holiday cheer. We just had our Thanksgiving Family Reunion of 32 members at the Battenkill Mansion. We have had this large family Thanksgiving reunion every other year and this was the 6th time we have used the Battenkill Mansion since 2009. Our family dynamics changed through the years to the present composition of 17 grandkids ages 4 to 23, and this year there was an overwhelming feeling from the participants that this was our best reunion ever. We were skeptical about getting the college students to join in this year, but they were very enthusiastic about it since there was so much bonding amongst the cousins. Using the multifunctional room was great for many things, including the large Thanksgiving dinner, competitive ping pong games, yoga classes, and other group games that required a big open space. We also found plenty of logs in the woods for getting the group together for fun times around a fire pit. An extra bonus was the nearby Dana Thompson Rec Park with large fields for soccer and baseball, multiple courts for pickleball, tennis and basketball, and an adjacent building that had restrooms attached with outside entrances. We witnessed many improvements to the Mansion over the years. It’s spacious rooms and its large outdoor areas allowed for many interactive group activities. We greatly appreciated the generous help of our host, Melissa, prior to and throughout our 4-day reunion.

Working with the staff at this beautiful eclectic incredible, gorgeously set  Inn for the last 6 months has been an absolute pleasure. Meesha, in charge of just about everything, was a delight to work with, professional, kind, thoughtful, and organized. The Wilburton has a list of suggested vendors that are top notch. Our officiant was also suggested to our daughter and son-in-law and she was a dream come true. The food was the best wedding dining we have ever had ~ I do not exaggerate~the flavors, the presentation, the offerings~ I mean I could go on!! If you are planning a wedding DO NOT hesitate to visit this beautiful VT spot and please consider. BTW, the weather is never an issue at the Wilburton because their indoor plans are as lovely as the setting outdoors. I sound like I'm paid to write this or related and I assure you I am not. When I say this weekend was beyond our expectations it is not an exaggeration. Melissa the owner greeted us as well and was as excited as we were to enjoy the weekend at the Wilburton.

Absolutely magical place… not only is the hotel itself lovely, comfy and beautifully decorated, but the grounds and the view are BEYOND BREATHTAKING! The staff was warm and friendly, the other guests were delightful and i will be back again ASAP!

We had 3 generations travel from CA and DC to the Wilburton Inn to enjoy the spectacular murder mystery weekend. It was the perfect weekend for all of us! The magnificent 1902 mansion was magical and felt like home with the generous hospitality of the Levis family, luxurious beds and home cooked meals. We made friendships with guests from all over and I will never forget my Mother’s smile when she guessed the murderer! Finding a place that fit all our needs and gave us pure joy and laughter will be cherished forever! Can’t wait to come back and share this remarkable place with our special friends and family!
