艾裡西歐司飯店(Hotel Eliseos)

Bit of a walk into town centre. Old fashioned style and rooms but fair VFM for Malaga. Simple breakfast.

Fint opphold i Malaga. Flott beliggenhet nær gamlebyen og havna. Vi lå i nest øverste etasje med nydelig utsikt fra balkong. Stort minus er stein harde senger. Vi lå der i 4 netter og sov ikke godt grunnet dette. Selv om beliggenheten var kjempe bra, kommer vi dessverre ikke tilbake grunnet de harde sengene

Hvis man ikke vil bruge så mange penge på luksus og fancy indretning er Hotel Eliseos et rigtigt godt bud. Det ligger centralt i gåafstand til den gamle bydel, stranden og det nyrenoverede området. Lidt væk fra gaden i et baghus, så der er ikke meget støj. Venlig service og glimrende morgenmad til kun 7 EUR, som ikke kræver forudbestilling. Ikke det nyeste decor, men pænt, rent og funktionelt. Fint lille poolområde med liggestole på toppen med skøn udsigt. Vi ville vende tilbage.

Clean and very small and modest room. Nice water pressure in the shower, but the bracket for the shower head was loose. Breakfast starts at 8, which I think is too late. The wifi worked ok. The hotel is right next to the old town of Malaga. The staff was friendly. Worth the money for a single traveller for a couple of nights.

We stayed for 2 nights in Room 607. The room was spacious with a small balcony (with a partial harbour view). The furniture was university “dorm like” and very old and weathered. Our bathroom door was badly water damaged and didn’t close too well. There was a good size closet with hanging options and a couple of drawers. The in-room safe was very small but it was ample for our valuables - could not fit a DSLR camera or iPad. The floors were sticky as if there was residual soap still left on. The AC and electric items only stay on if the card key is in the room plus it also had a physical key. There was no double bed but rather two twins put together - tricky for a couple, it kept separating. The shower was good and with strong pressure but the towels were very thin and old - could do with upgrading. The fridge was super small barely fitted our bottles of water and wine. We liked the good size desk in the room - we organized our travel maps and other necessities. The hotel has a funky ramp like entrance which was difficult pulling our luggage. We would not stay here again.

Central to the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro ruins and close to the marina and beach. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Facility is worn and the pool small and barely swimable. But for the price? Good.

Considering this being a 3 star hotel I was very positively surprised. The rooms were very spacious, the bathroom working well, nice balcony with a pretty view. Clean and tidy room. The breakfast was nice, not too much of choices but nice bread and nice hams and a good selection of drinks. The staff was very serviceminded and friendly. Location very good as well. Roof top pool rather small but sufficient.

Sødt personale og god beliggenhed. Værelset har, hvad man skal bruge, men er lidt koldt, specielt belysningen. Morgenmaden er fin til prisen. Vi kommer gerne igen!

Hotellet ligger både nära centrum och stranden. Vi hade tur och fick ett rum med lite utsikt. Annars ligger hotellet i en gränd bakom en annan byggnad. Wifi var väldigt växlande, inte bra om man behöver vara uppkopplad ofta. Personalen trevlig. Frukosten sådär...
