德國飯店(Hotel Germanus)

Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr reichhaltig, nur der Kaffee war etwas dünn. Das Personal war freundlich und bemüht, die Zimmer nicht mehr ganz neu, aber sauber und ordentlich. Das lag wohl vor allem an Lilly, unserem freundlichem und fleißigen Zimmermädchen, das den ganzen geschäftig war. Lilly spricht auch gut Englisch, was hilfreich war.

Hôtel vieillot, sanitaires d'une autre époque laissant à désirer. Robinets vieux, rideau de douche moyennement propre. Télé datant de 15 ans. Le voiturier guide les voitures au sifflet, même la nuit, sous les fenêtres des chambres, climatisation qui ne climatise pas grand chose. Ensemble d'une propriété moyenne.

The hotel's peeling facade is reflective of their facilities. Of the 9 different Indian hotels I've stayed in over the past 3 weeks, this was the only one where a roach greeted me while keying my room power. Rooms could stand a new paint job. Western tourists appreciate having a swimming pool. At Ger***us the water is not chlorinated, yielding a murky green tint with limited visibility. From the roof top the only view is the uninviting sprawl of the highway flyover. Breakfasts are adequate if not uninspiring.

Rather shockingly bad stay here. Dirty rooms, outdated, paint peeling. My room had bloodstained sheets, cockroaches, black mould in the bathroom and the room. No way to control the AC temperature so it was too hot to sleep. Electrical outlets were loose and most didn't work. Location is poor, on the outskirts of Madurai near a large overpass and far from sights. The hotel restaurant had a large menu but never seemed to have anything that was on it, and kept urging people towards the overpriced buffet. The staff were friendly and tried hard, but calling this a 3 star hotel is a joke. Stay elsewhere.

Very bad experience ever ..high price and unclean rooms.toilet is so exhaust..we opt for 2 rooms..but in that one toilet was locked and we called reception and no cared or responded.and the other tiolet water was leaking badly but still no response from there side.they charged 9000 for diz

Ac not working properly. Small room for 5k plus. Room setup looks sick. Restroom is bad. Poor maintenance. Hotel policies is in favor of owners, not customer friendly. Whoever is willing to book be ready to face all this

Ok, but still room for improvement. HSK staff Rani excellent service. Other than that room needs to be improved . Breakfast was ok, enjoyed the vadai and idli. The bathroom was locked from inside, had to call maintenance

The hotel is excellent. One staff lady Lilly is nice and supportive . Her behaviour is excellent. We love the ambience. Fooding is good. Other services are also very good . Support staff is also helpful.

Absolutely hopeless. We stayed here for one night, it was last night of our Southern tour, and happened to be worst night. Since we checked in AC was not working. On complaining Technician came did some work and assured that cooling will happen in some time. After that we went to visit Meenakshi Temple. After returning back again switched On the AC and waited for an hour but no cooling at all. We complained again, but there was no solution as technicians had left for the day. And atlast we had to sleep in warm room. Room is good in size, but interiors are tired, it is in bad need of renovation.
