早餐不豐富，相對於其他五星，非常單調的buffet，還要額外charge。餐廳的經理不知道是不是racist，主動加橙汁和咖啡從來不來我們桌，然後安排坐在很外面，跟他招手也裝作看不到，有故意忽視的感覺。後來有默默觀察他衹會來給我們收盤子，給別人在服務。另外明明在前台已經付過早餐了，餐廳又給了一張單子更高的價格。不推薦也不會再來住，沒有必要為了其他普通的服務來感受這個令人噁心的餐廳經理。

As a Marriott Titanium / Lifetime Platinum Elite Guest, our family [husband, wife and two young daughters] decided to visit Madrid, Spain to start our month-long 2023 summer vacation in Europe. We spent five (5) nights at Westin Palace Madrid using our Bonvoy points in late May / early June 2023. Please see the thirty-eight (38) photos we posted with this review of all aspects of the hotel. Within days after making our five (5) night stay using Marriott Bonvoy points approximately ten (10) months prior to our arrival date, we emailed General Manager, Pablo Flores and advised him of our future stay as well as our special requests, including our request for an Executive Suite, which would comfortably host our family of four. Within hours of our email, we received a thoughtful reply Paloma Hidalgo, Director of Rooms, whom immediately provided us with a complimentary guaranteed upgrade to an Executive Suite and further, Ms. Hidalgo readily granted all of our other special requests. The prompt response did not come as a surprise to us given how active the management of this property is in reading and promptly replying to past guests on Trip Advisor as well as the Marriott Bonvoy website, which is but a mere sign of management’s commitment to exemplary customer service. Not surprisingly, we were overjoyed with such a response and really looked forward to our future stay at The Westin Palace Madrid. This gorgeous historic hotel is magnificently located in Madrid overlooking the Neptune Fountain and less than a three minute walk to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, less than a five minute walk to the Prado Museum and less than a ten minute walk to the Reina Sofia Museum. It is also extremely close to Retiro Park and is within an easy 15 minute walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Gran Via as well as many bars, restaurant, trendy cafés, market and other cultural attractions. You can easily walk everywhere throughout the entire city but public transportation options abound in close proximity to the hotel as well. Our initial visit to the Westin Palace Madrid did not disappoint, especially when the hotel accommodated our extremely early check-in (before 9:00 am). The check-in process with Ms. Hidalgo, Estefanía Martinez, Front Office Assistant Manager and Juan at the reception desk was a breeze. Further, Ms. Martinez was kind enough to personally escort us to our suite and show us all of the features and amenities of same. This was very thoughtful on the part of Ms. Martinez and very much appreciated. Throughout our entire five (5) night stay, Ms. Hidalgo and Ms. Martinez were especially helpful and friendly. We simply loved our Palace Executive Suite with slightly over 1,000 square feet in total space with a sublime view of the Neptune Fountain; it was truly remarkable. Further, upon entering, we discovered that Mr. Flores and his team were kind enough to provide us with several 1 liter bottles of both sparking water (Vichy Catalan) and sti

I'm probably bring slightly generous in my rating as this is a good hotel but not very good. However, I think it would be unfair to rate it as average which is the next rating scale on TripAdvisor. It's very conveniently located if you're coming into the main railway station and is a short walk away and there is an elevator to street level from the station if you have heavy suitcases. It's also a short walk to the Prado and the Reine Sofia but about a 30 minute walk up to Plaza Mayor. The rooms are comfortable and new. They're not very big but for a short stay they're adequate. The bathroom is of a fair size and the amenities in the room are good. They have breakfast at the hotel but we didn't use it so I can't comment.

We spent one week in late April 2023 at the Doubletree Madrid Prado on the first leg of a four week visit to Spain. We were attracted to the hotel because of its location, modest size and many positive reviews. Our expectations were high and they were exceeded! We were warmly greeted and efficiently checked in on arrival. Because we were staying for seven nights, we had booked a King Superior room and were assigned room 301 which was spacious, well furnished and full of light and we were very comfortable there. Perhaps due to its size (only about sixty rooms over five floors), its understated lobby and its exceptional level of service, the hotel has an intimacy that that we found very appealing. The location in the upscale Las Letras district was perfect for us as walkers: very near the Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen museums and within walking distance of Retiro Park, the boutiques of Calle Serrano and even the Royal Palace and Atocha Station. With the help of the front desk staff (especially Cristina) we found some great restaurants (of which our favourite was Vinoteca Moratin, reviewed separately) and tapas bars within five to ten minutes walk from the hotel. Because of our Hilton status we enjoyed a generous and graciously and efficiently served continental breakfast (excellent coffee, juices, fresh fruit, toast and assorted pastries) every morning; if we were to make one suggestion about breakfast, it would be to add a protein (yogurt or cheese or a selection of meats) to the continental buffet. Overall, we were delighted with our stay at the Doubletree Madrid Prado and we would stay there again if we return to Madrid. We recommend it without reservation to anyone looking for a well-located, upscale but understated, unpretentious and reasonably priced hotel in Madrid.

位置非常好，酒吧餐廳都有。 停車場雖然比較貴，25一晚，但是附近酒店很多都沒有停車場，在這麼市中心住沒有停車場是不可能找到停車位的，連上下行李都麻煩，所以停車場是加分項（如果衹是上下行李，可以借用停車場一下下，因為酒店門口停車鐵定是吃罰單的）。 酒店服務態度非常好，常常是一個帥哥+一個美女在，住了兩次，態度都很熱情。 酒店樓下就有酒吧和餐廳，如果想安靜喝杯，很適合，餐廳出品還不錯，但價格在這區裏偏高。 房間忘拍照了，但是保險柜很好用，可以刷自己的卡作為鑰匙，先進，有一個很奇怪的點是房間電視柜上麪會有一盆沙，不知道是什麼審美。

優點:優越的地理位置;樂於助人的員工和乾淨。缺點:我以前在老撾和英國的宜必思風格酒店住過,發現它們物有所值。遺憾的是,這次我非常失望。我們在馬德里出差,結果我只能住一間單人房,房間大小像孩子的臥室,只放一張牀,其他房間的窗戶沒有多遠,可以俯內部樓梯。奇怪的是,樓層的走廊非常寬...所以爲什麼我無法爲走廊騰出這麼多空間而房間本身卻空間不大。無論如何,裝飾很累,需要更新,我認爲西班牙的Ibis管理層需要重新考慮下次酒店裝修時空間的使用。但最讓人不快的是淋浴水管裏一股可怕的氣味;太強烈了,讓我嘔吐。我提醒前台服務員,她很貼心,說酒店已經預訂滿了,無法換房間。我讓第二天有人看下水道(他們這麼做了),我用完所有的沐浴露,試圖去抵消氣味,然後就上牀睡覺了。就在我準備睡覺的時候,前台晚上11:30打電話說有房間是免費的。但是太累了,無法接受這個提議。第二天,酒店維修看了看,同意有問題,然後被告知已經修好了。氣味稍微好一點,但並沒有完全消失。無論如何,我確實檢查了TripAdvisor的評論,而且我不是第一個抱怨浴室下水道有濃烈氣味的人。顯然,酒店的管道存在問題,需要修復。結論:在馬德里市中心尋找一家價格優惠的酒店。

More than once in this very good location hotel. It is a very good mercure from Accor. Nothing to be mentionned. Just be kind enough to client (and more platinum) attention : our bathrooms was smelling very bad during 3 days (canalisation) we didn’t notice to the front room but when we checked out, the agent proposed not to pay the breakfast we never had… and then we ask to take the car from the garage at 1:30 in place of 12:00 seems to be a huge problem when we paid for 48hrs - and no commercial gesture due to the room smell… client first…

在高級房住了10天。安靜，很乾凈還有很好的工作人員，美味的早餐。可以步行去任何重要景點(去地鐵步行衹要2-3分鐘）。等出租車從來不超過1分鐘。房間有一個足夠大的櫥櫃和好用的桌子。床很大很結實。空調不算太好，但是沒有不舒服。晚上足夠涼快！浴室的水一直有熱水，而且水壓很足。還會再來的～

We recently stayed here 6 nights. I’ll categorize as good bad & ugly. Wouldn’t stay here again but paid @$200/ night for good location so the price was right. Rating as average. Location top notch. GOOD Location is excellent for walking everywhere in Madrid. Safe, upscale area. Mattress was comfortable Small mini bar in room was nice BAD Horrid staff. So rude. Almost never looked up to greet you on arrival. Really unreal. All young staff WORST TRAINING EVER. it’s Europe. You greet your guests. Get a clue. Time and time again the young staff members were too preoccupied to look up. UGLY 1)We arrived after overseas flight. Our room was ready but they asked for 40 euros extra to move in early - or we could wait a few hours until 2 pm. Never seen this kind of greedy ugly before. We paid. 2) I got chocolate from the mini bar on the sheets the first night. They weren’t changed. Second day no maid at all. Finally on 4th day I asked at front desk PLEASE CHANGE SHEETS AND TOWELS. Lazy inept maid still didn’t change sheets! UGH. Up to $270 a night on some of our 6 nights and dirty sheets for 5 nights straight. I gave up. 3) Air conditioning didn’t function/ wasn’t turned on. Purposely booked a hotel with AC but to no avail. Wasn’t miserable but AC would have been expected and welcome. Too loud in the street to leave door/ window open at night for fresh air. 4) my first reservation was rudely cancelled by hotel staff saying my credit card didn’t take. 5) room was ikea-like with no closet and very simple cheap furnishings. Not unpleasant- just meh.
