This is one of those places where you want to return again. We have been twice and will definitely come in the fall for the leaf fall. Very cozy rooms with beautiful decoration. Great staff and excellent service. The house is well located, easy access to the ocean beach, restaurants, shops, and other small beautiful towns. Very clean and delicious breakfasts. Every time I visit, I never cease to be amazed at how everything is thought out in detail. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

We loved everything about this place. The decor, the rooms, the added touches everywhere! The beds were super comfortable, great breakfast options and the staff and owners were super nice. We were with 3 other couples and the outdoor area/fire tables was a great place to catch up with old friends after a wedding in the area. Hoping to have an opportunity to come again! Best B&B we ever stayed at.

An ideal inn. The setting is beautiful. Each of the individually decorated rooms are inviting and tastefully furnished and accessorized including a phonograph and a fireplace. The beds are the most comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and spotless. The entire Inn is immaculate and decorated with all kinds of interesting photographs, books, memorabilia, games, etc. The large fireplace in the living room is difficult to leave as are the Inn owner, Ralph, and his wonderful and friendly staff. There is a perfect breakfast to start off the day with cereals, fresh fruit, muffins, quiche, and various morning drinks. It is hard to decide whether or not the leave the comport of the Inn or go out to explore the area. The area, by the way, is beautiful with many fine restaurants, the beach and beach clubs, health spas, sports clubs, and many recreational activities - and close to Yale University. This Inn is a great getaway for a weekend or a week. I don't think one can find a better place to stay!!

Very comfortable and friendly BNB, with many wonderful staff members who checked in with us before and during the visit. Nice breakfast (though not the Austrian pastries mentioned online), charging station for our electric car, and comfortable room.

We had the most fantastic stay at the Homestead. Probably the best Bed & Breakfast we have experienced. From perfect accommodations, excellent bedding, convenient location, clean quiet rooms, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Coffee made to order? No problem. Nothing is spared, the host demonstrates an extreme attention to detail. We were pleased to find a towel warmer so getting out of the shower became a treat in chilly December. Clearly a very well managed place and totally unpretentious. You just feel at home (but even better!). Our room was very dog friendly, with it's own entrance and patio. The living and dining rooms were comfortable gathering places for us to chat with other guests. The Homestead could be the destination by itself.

This is our fourth stay here - and every time we come, it gets better! Fantastic location, on St. 1 in Madison, close to the center and all other amenities. Fantastic, friendly and helpful owner and staff, great rooms with great bathrooms and all amenities. Breakfast and coffee, drinks, popcorn, etc. Super clean and modern, cannot say enough about the place - bravo! We will be here again soon.
