The staff here were all very friendly and helpful. I think I’d give them all 5 stars, and I believe they do a great job despite the lack of resources they are given by the owner. The entire property last the front desk reception dining areas are dilapidated and worn down. We booked a King and got a room with 2 double beds which I thought would haven proven more beneficial when I found so many hairs between the sheets. It was late, I was tired and looked in the other bed in it was worse. I was told a cleaning member quit during the rounds that day - I was given clean sheets and I changed the linens. At least the mattresses were clean. Grubby hallways Grubby bathrooms Grubby gross air conditioning vents Poorly repaired ceilings, caulking Just Grubby and overdue for a renovation For $200 /night in a friendly yet po dunk town, it was disappointing.

We stayed here for two nights as part of our trip to the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. It was 1:20 travel time to Augusta. The staff were all very friendly. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We will probably stay here again if we are lucky enough to get Masters tickets.

Hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient to both downtown Madison and the Interstate. Check in was great. The clerk was very friendly and helpful, and the process was quick and smooth. Front desk was staffed every time we passed by. Would stay again, and recommend.

The location was good for our family function. The staff were very friendly and helpful. What we didn't like were the big transports around this hotel. They didn't care about small vehicles and there need to get to the facility.

Got to our room on the third floor only to find it was bug infested. Employee got us a new room on the second floor within 20 minutes, but we were awakened at 1:30 in the morning by the person in room above us on the third floor constantly making noise, so we left at 3am to finish our trip.

The first room we were put in was full of live bugs around the window and ceiling. We called down and someone came to see them. The new employee called down and had a conversation with the on duty manager. They were actually counting the number of bugs…as if there was an acceptable number. They moved us to a room down the hall. Same thing. Less bugs but live bugs present. While on the phone with on duty manager we were told “All of our rooms are going to have some bugs but this one seems to have the fewest. Besides our other rooms are reserved and we can’t move you again.” Well, our rooms were reserved through ******* so I am not sure what the point was. It was late at this point and we were in town for an event which meant there were no other rooms in town. While Hampton Inn is not a 5 star luxury hotel, I’ve stayed at many that were well run and maintained. This was pretty far below what I believe to be their standard.

Have feather allergy, requested foam pillows at time of reservation. Some feather pillows in room. Went to front desk. Manager on duty promptly found 2 foam pillows in supply area - got a good night's sleep

In fairness, I didn’t stay here, because they over sold the property. They tried to send me somewhere 45 min away. I was on a business trip. ******* is also to blame because they did not list the area code to my phone number and had my address listed on the other side of the country. Poor customer service all the way around. Horrific experience.

Horrible stay. Room was not clean at check in. There was trash in thr cans and food stuck in the sheets. I was told housekeeping was gone for the day and the property was fully booked. We had to clean our own room and request sheets to change our bed. The issues continued throughout the weekend without resolve. Hotel options are few in Madison, however, I would not recommend Hampton.
