羅莎鄉間村舍

Stayed here for 2 nights. The cottage was clean, with everything you could want for a short stay. The bed is comfortable, There is a small but well equipped kitchen, with a comfortable lounge area. WiFi is free and reliable. The setting is quite, with a lovely verandah to sit and enjoy a drink after a day of visiting the wineries. Bridie, the on-site care taker is incredibly helpful and friendly, but respects your privacy. I would be happy to stay here again when visiting this lovely part of our wonderful country.

Best thing about this place is the beds and how quiet it is. The kitchen is very old but functional. Aircon in lounge sounds like it’s an airplane flying. Again very old. On our Amex booking there were no instructions, hence we had to ask how to enter as nobody is really there to greet and give you keys. We asked for an extra towel and were told “we have given you 3 towels as it was 3 people. I’ll bring one later.” The towel was never brought though. Beds are very comfy, walking distance to some wineries and also to Ministry of beers. Fireplace ban between December and April, but it wasn’t written on the website. Needs to have better greeting and also more accomodating. A simple request as a towel it’s not much to ask (and wasn’t given)
