維拉馬爾飯店(Vilamar)

Reception is friendly, quick and uncomplicated. Willing to help/answer to any question/request. Location is fine as a base or stopover to visit Algarve (Benagil, Lagos, Sagres etc.) by car. Competitive price and all rooms look good with a view on the pool and the sea, good bathroom. Only downsides are that the room is missing some cutlery/dishes/coffee/tea, since the bar/restaurant is not to be recommended. Overall, when I am traveling this part of Portugal by car again I would definitely book here.

For the first night in my life I was scared for my life and have a police number on my phone. Everyone could see you sleeping, since the windows didnt have any cover .. you room doors have no security .. enjoy your stay and have a police number ready to call .. I will ob take legal action

Gorgeous hotel, a little bit out of town but walkable. People with walking problems maybe will have difficulties walking up the hill back to the hotel. Snack bar reasonable and drinks fairly priced. Luz is beautiful but tiny. It is advisable to book restaurants in advance. Also use cash as a lot of places will not accept credit / debit card. Gorgeous hot weather made our stay perfect

Very big room, very friendly staff, pretty place! Enjoyed the stay, only downfall was there was next to no vegan options on the menu!

It is a great place, we enjoyed it

My husband and I have just returned home after spending 6 nights in Vilamar. We couldn't fault the hotel at all. Filipe, Nuno & Sandro were wonderful, attentive and could not have been more welcoming. We were out and about the majority of the time but whenever we returned we were greeted with a friendly face (or a stand-in referee for a game of Connect Four at the bar!) The gardens/pool area is perfect to relax in. Our room was cleaned & freshly laundered every day. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre which hosts a range of wonderful restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and the beautiful sea front. The larger town of Lagos is around 10 minutes away, which is much busier than Luz, with a large marina, shops, historic architecture & plenty of options for food and drinks. We used Uber to get around, as they were so frequent and inexpensive. We had a fantastic holiday & look forward to returning again very soon!

Dodicesima e penultima tappa del Trilho dos Pescadores, che ci ha condotti da Salema a Luz, centro turistico dell’Algarve. L’hotel si trova a circa 1 km dal centro, circondato da bellissime ville e comodamente raggiungibile con una bella passeggiata; la nostra stanza era collocata in una dependance, a fianco della struttura principale, con gli alloggi disposti attorno ad un bel giardino curato. La stanza era molto ampia, con un letto king size, un comodo divano, sedie e scrivania, capiente armadio con cassaforte, supporto per il bagaglio, un piccolo frigo, la TV sulla scrivania. Bagno con cabina doccia, e set di asciugamani di buona qualità. La piscina dell’hotel era facilmente raggiungibile tramite un varco nella recinzione del giardino. Soggiorno e riposo molto tranquilli; la colazione non era inclusa nel trattamento.
