Great experience from check-in to check-out. Really beautiful hotel that makes you wish you always had one more night. The rooms are very retro with outstanding amenities. I love how the décor pays homage to the local history and landscape. Shower water presser is outstanding and high end toiletries are provided. Had a wonderful time at the Midnight Shift Restaurant & Bar. Cocktails were amazing, food was great and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.
This property is our favorite place to stay in Lubbock! The location is great, it is a nice, safe, clean area, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are always very clean. The breakfast is good, with a nice variety of foods, hot and cold. It is also within walking distance to quite a few restaurants.

We did ask for a roll in bed, which we did have to go downstairs to get, and push it up ourselves. We were all very disappointed because the pool does not open till 11 on Sundays, and that’s the same time as check out. We had a wrestling tournament the night we stayed in the hotel, which we checked into prior, but didn’t even get to lay down to sleep until 1:00a.m. We also heard that people above us stomping around for probably another hour and a half after we were in bed. I’ll give it a little below standard level, but not terrible.
The room could have been nice, but was desperately in need of a vacuum. The floor had not been vacuumed and there was dog hair on the furnishings. The remote was visibly grimy. For the price this was all not worth it. The check in experience was strange, they have your reservation but nothing else about you, so they have to manually enter phone number, address, e-mail, payment info, and it takes about 5 minutes. So I got to listen to two workers from the oil field talk about what they were going to do that weekend as I waited to check in. do. not. care. Get that check-in experience together and clean your rooms better.
LLexii AdventureI LOVE staying at the Aloft in Lubbock! The atmosphere is so zen and calming, and the beds make you feel like you don't want to leave. I love how quiet it can be and you're right there in the midst of all the things to do! Loads of places to eat
訪訪客Stayed passing through based on reviews but probably wouldn't do so again. The place looked new on the outside but rooms were not being maintained, there were hair pins on the floor or the bathroom, dirty areas on walls etc. The pool is across form the elevators and they allowed kids to run around from the pool into the elevators without drying off. Both elevator floors were covered a lot of water as was the area in front of the elevator doors. I almost slipped but luckily didn't fall. The front desk person put out a sign about it being wet but didn't stop the kids (or the parents) so the area remained wet and dangerous. The best art though was that after we drove 10 hours to get there they told us they had no soap or shampoo. They told us we could drive to the store to buy our own! Our room also had only one towel and no coffee or coffee cups or much of anything. We paid about $100 for this. I'm not sure what happened at this location but I hope they get their act together.
Rudy is an awesome person! He made my stay smooth and enjoyable! We need more people like him in the hotel industry! Highly recommend him a raise for how courteous and helpful he was! Great man, he made my stay worth it! I was really stressed with work and needed some documents printed and he saved my presentation!
JJane HThere is no shortage of extended suite hotels in Lubbock. Many of them are new and most of them are gray boxes, with all gray interiors, harsh lighting, and cold furniture and fabrics. If that's what you want then stay at those places. Embassy Suites Lubbock may not be the newest property in town, but it is clean, hospitable and inviting. The plants throughout the solarium lobby are well-tended and add a fun and unique vibe to the space. We stayed with our almost one-year-old and she enjoyed the plants and Christmas decorations (we wish the fish were still in the water feature!). The lighting is warm and ambient not harsh...what a novel concept that modern hotels have forgotten! Yes much room furniture is worn, with the exception of mattresses which seem new and are extremely comfortable. We found the breakfast hot and delicious. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was hearty and yummy. Water was hot and we appreciated having a bathtub for baby instead of the typical shower. We 100% recommend for families. Staff was gracious and helpful. Folks leaving negative reviews have plenty of other vanilla choices in town. The property is what it is and I'm glad they aren't trying to be like every other property.
It was an okay stay. Beds were fine. Door & lock worked. Shower worked and was clean. That’s all we really needed. However, this place looks like it used to be a luxury hotel, but now it’s really run down. It actually kinda made me sad to see how run down it looks from its glory days that I imagine in my mind. Even my 7 yo daughter said “wow, this place looks like it used to be really pretty”. I think if some corporate executives came by and saw the state of this place, they would feel the same way and maybe give them the budget for the improvements that it really needs.
