Front desk and housekeeping were really friendly. Breakfast staff was amazing and the food was great. Upon arrival the pool was closed and that was the reason I booked that hotel. Also they were under construction so you werd not able to use the front doors. Overall it was great!

this was a great stay. Better experience than embassy suites El Paso. positives. great staff- friendly and attentive. love heat air in room. love morning breakfast choices, and room clean and in mostly excellent condition. Negatives for me. No sheer curtain in room, no zero hand lotion drawers in bedroom hard to open and close. Used to have 2 chairs in room, but not this time.

I was very disappointed with the condition of the property. Our room was very rundown. It needs to be updated badly. Also, the managers reception you were only allowed 2 drinks which I’ve stayed at other Embassy Suites and we didn’t have a limit. I will say the staff was friendly and helpful. However, I will probably not stay at this hotel again until they improve it.

Overall, it was an average stay. However, there were quite a few inconveniences that led to the stay being subpar. The water temperature fluctuated in the shower every day, shifting from ice cold to scolding hot without warning. There was pushback from the front desk staff, in the evenings, when ordering food/drinks from the store, suggesting we weren’t able to do so after a certain time. We also had to go down to the front desk daily to retrieve toilet paper and room necessities, due to running out and hotel staff stating they were understaffed and couldn’t send anyone to the room. The wallpaper was peeling in the room, and the carpet was coming up. Also, the lamps in the room were all tilted and the room looked and smelled like it hadn’t been used for quite some time. When speaking to staff about the concerns, we were met with a nonchalant attitude, suggesting that no accommodations could be made. Other than those moderate issues, the parking was excellent and the location to other facilities was very convenient. I’ve always loved this location in Lubbock, but it does appear to be a bit run down since the last time my family stayed here for the holidays, a year ago. One staff member stated management had changed as of late, which could be the leading cause. Our family does plan to try again next year, with hopes that the facilities are back up to their Hilton standard.

It's an older hotel but very well maintained overall. The elevators are a bit rickety and slow, but the rest of the hotel is beautiful. Excellent breakfast and pretty good food in the bar in the evenings. Recommended.

The hotel is outdated. For the price of the rooms it’s not worth it. There was black mold in the shower the drain caps were off and the shower head was broke. The bed was like sleeping on the floor. The drapes were stained and for a non-smoking room it the room smelled like cigarettes. Overall would not stay agin.

Not a great experience. The staff was great, but the room was not. We got there and it was HOT in the room. Too hot. We turned on the air conditioning which did not cool the room. We let the front desk know and it was 9:30 before anyone got there. It did finally cool down, but we wanted to go to bed hours before.

We love the hotel and decided to stay another night. That was a mistake. There were birthday parties going on and kids running thru the hotel all evening and kids in the bar area, no staff said a word.
