凱娜格飯店(De Vere Cranage Estate)

We had a lovely welcome, reception team were great, we checked into the room then off to the health club. Again really nice, we booked an early table in the restaurant which was nice, not an amazing choice but cooked well and restaurant team were very accommodating, I had the tbone and my wife the rack of lamb. Breakfast was awful I’m afraid, the quality was poor, grey hash browns over cooked fried eggs watery scrambled eggs, ended up having just a bacon sandwich, my wife just left hungry £38 for that was very poor indeed, must say the breakfast team were efficient but we were not asked if we enjoyed the meal. Back to the room where the shower was broken, so left an unhappy guest

Restaurant closed to regular guests die to number of conference delegates. Sell me a room and then - no restaurant?!?!

Hotel not up to standard displayed in the photos online via ********** app. Only twin rooms available, 24hour room service stopped at 21:30 despite placing an order and speak to reception and bar before this. Stained carpets, dirty/ run down bathroom and shower that would change temperature randomly. When raised this issue with ********** online chat didn’t get any response and cut off multiple times. Charged twice for breakfast, which was served until 10:30 but nothing fresh or replenished to the buffet after 09:45, when another guest asked for more eggs (as they had ran out at buffet) was snapped at by hotel staff.

Terrible experience! We booked thinking it would be a nice relaxing place with facilities to enjoy before going out that evening. Unfortunately we arrived to loads of trucks and vans offloading boxes etc. at the front entrance and noticed banners everywhere for an audio equipment trade exhibition happening at the hotel the next day. We had not been informed of this on making the reservation or subsequently prior to arrival.After making our way through things to the reception desk we we told that even though it was well after the 3pm check in time, our room wasn't ready and to wait in the bar area and we would be informed when the room was available. We did so, again making our way through the utter chaos and waited. At 4:30 we returned to the reception and with out any apology were given our room key. On the way to the room we noticed that the exhibitors were using the hotel rooms for their demonstrations, playing music to demonstrate their equipment (as you would at an event like this.) They were all pleasant enough and moved their stuff for us to get past to get to our room which was on a corridor around the corner from all of this. Once we had dropped the bags off, we tried to find a quiet spot, but all of the lounge area and bar were also being set up and used so just went back to the room again and got ready to go out in Middlewich for the evening. The next morning we had breakfast and left as soon as we could. If we'd known about the event we'd have booked elsewhere!

There was no heating in the block are room was in. Ask the manager to ring me on check out. Still waiting for the call.

Beautiful location and good service but no hot water in the shower.

A lovely old house in a beautiful setting. Comfortable rooms and great breakfast. What's not to like ?

The hotel was fine. The pool and gym were excellent. Unfortunately, on check in we asked if we could book a table for 3 people for dinner, and were told that we could book at 6.30 or 8.00. We chose 6.30. When we went to the bar for a pre dinner drink, it was packed and very noisy, with TV's everywhere. Then we were told that the restaurant was closed, and we would have to eat in the bar! It was too late to go somewhere else. We were very disappointed, and although we complained on checkout, all we got was a metaphorical "shrug of the shoulders!"
