BEWARE!!! WEBSITE PICTURES ARE NOT WHAT THE PLACE LOOKS LIKE!!! We stayed for 3 days in the VERANDA: 1. KITCHEN: The photos on their website are NOTHING in the way of accurate The floor had huge gaps and completely missing pieces of wood, causing a tripping hazard Curtains were only the top valance ... no bottom curtain STOCKED KITCHEN: laughable - 4 forks, NO SPOONS, two frying pans, one kitchen towel, no paper towels The one time we used the toaster, it had gunk on it that smoked out the kitchen 2. LIVING ROOM: The website pictures show a nice couch, coffee table with rug underneath. Instead, there was a large daybed too high to use the coffee table, no rug 2nd night a fuse blew so we were unable to watch TV in the living room for the rest of our stay While attempting to check the plugs, we found old garbage from other guests behind the entertainment center We also discovered garbage behind the furniture in the back bedroom when we had to pull the little TV out to watch Curtain rods were hanging crooked and I personally fixed them Plywood boarded up one of the large "view" windows 3. BATHROOM: The second night we were there, the downstairs guest came up and asked if we were "running water". My friend was in the shower I was told by the other guest that water was pouring into their space. Shortly after that, were were told that the water was shut off I had NOT had time to shower AND we could not flush the toilet ALL NIGHT AND THE ENTIRE NEXT DAY!!! 4.23.22 Since we were unable to rinse or wash our dishes which were used at this point, the kitchen reaked. Housekeeping at least offered to take our dishes (that we had to load) and washed them. In the evening, after returning from a very long, hard working day, we were told we still could NOT use the shower!!! We had dinner plans and were told we could shower at the housekeeping quarters. Had to schlep our stuff to walk down to housekeeping to shower and poop!!! We had gone up to help a dear friend with her house. I suggested to her she ask for a portion of the cost ($547!!!) back for all of the inconvenience we experienced. She was offered $50 and the owner (Jodie, hung up on her) I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS FILTHY, BROKEN DOWN PLACE!!!
