I had such a great stay and having the museum to explore was even better. The art was fascinating and was such a great kickstart to my day. The special touches in the rooms were wonderful like a plush robe, dark chocolates, and a Nespresso machine. Proof that is connected to the hotel has amazing food as well. Can’t wait to check out other 21C hotels.

What a disappointment. 2inch gap between the door and the floor allows all the noise from the hallway to come in. HVAC fan buzzed all night long and is so annoying. Placement of light switches to turn on/off the lights are not well placed. Disappointing experience.

This is NOT a kid friendly hotel. I looked and looked for a luxury hotel and 21c had excellent reviews. No where did it say not kids friendly. We checked in, went to eat and came back to check out museum. Naked pictures of men is not appropriate for our 12 year old daughter. We immediately checked out and drove 2.5 hours home.

The 1st night in 21c Museum Hotel Louisville was bad experience because we were bite by unknown bug in the bed. On June 28, after we showed the staff the cited evidence included the bug body and picture on the my back skin, the staff said the hotel will compensate one night charge to expedia.ca, please advise how we can get one night refund.

I returned to my room prior to my checkout time to shower and gather my belongings. I entered to discover that all the bedding had been removed and the carpet was dripping wet from a carpet cleaning. They decided to do this work while I was still occupying the room. The staff was practically useless. Despite helping me move to an adjacent room so I could shower and pack, they seemed to think I should have noticed in a dark room that the carpet was soaking wet before I dropped my things down. When checking out a few minutes later, they had me stand and wait without asking how I wanted the bill sent to me. However, they did ask how I wanted to pay for the minibar item. Poorly capable and trained staff. Also, the on-premises restaurant never returned a call I made to book a large table for an event.

Arrived at 5pm local time (check in start at 4pm). Had booked a king room and paid in advance for my son and new wife. He was told that no king rooms were available. He was given a 2 double bed room. He is 6'5" and his wife is 5'10", they do not fit in double beds together. When they reminded the desk person that a king room was booked and paid for they received a "take it or leave it" comment and attitude . I feel this was because the room was booked through a 3rd party website and they feel they can mistreat those customers. The hotel is very busy and noisy. Many private events. Bar is nice but very crowded at night. Proof the restaurant has good food. Limited breakfast/coffee choices in area if you don't eat at Proof. No view from window and room was dark on a cloudy weekend.

Priced too high for this property. It was disappointing.

This was one of the most fun hotels I've ever stayed at! Great helpful and friendly staff, great decor, art everywhere and a nice spacious room! Loved our experience here and would definitely stay here everytime we visit Louisville.

Nothing wrong with modern art, but this isn’t art. It’s left-wing political activism and propaganda. Rooms are a good size but that’s the only positive thing I have to say about this hotel. We even got turned away at breakfast, they said they were at capacity and couldn’t even give me a time estimate on when a table would be ready, basically just flat out refusing to serve us even though we were willing to wait since we were staying at the hotel.
