梅爾羅斯帕裡飯店(Palihotel Melrose)

女性1人で利用しましたが、内装がオシャレでスタッフの方も親切で快適なステイになりました。 シャワーの水圧も問題なく、特に壁の薄さなども気になりませんでした。 歩いて出かけるには周りに何でもあるって感じの距離ではない感じがしました。

Tolles Hotel, in einer tollen Lage von Los Angeles!

I loved the design of the hotel and the staff is very friendly, but that’s about it. For some weird reason they have one thermostat for two rooms, so if one guest wants it too cold and the other warmer, wins the one that shouts the most to the staff. The other thing that s that the hotel has thin walls, you can hear other rooms and outside. They offer some pastries in the morning but they are a bit old.

Great hotel with a couple catches. My room didn’t have any climate controls other than a window to be opened or closed. So it was either a bit cold or a bit warm. Also, I know it’s on the fancy side of Fairfax but $5.75 for a 12oz coffee downstairs!?! I ended up walking the quarter mile to Starbucks for reasonably priced coffee. The space is great and the staff is delightful but bring a hoodie for your room and pick up coffee on your way over.

The hotel is in a near perfect location for our trip. Right on Melrose, along with almost any store you can imagine. It's also within walking distance to The Grove and shops along 3rd St. Unfortunately, being on one of the busiest streets means LOTS of noise. We must have been on the fastest route to Cedars-Sinai because there were sirens about once every 30-60 minutes. Halfway through our stay we realized that they provide ear plugs and a white noise machine upon request and that helped make our nights much more restful. The mini bar is impressively stocked, which was actually a bad thing because we ended up eating and drinking almost everything in it! Overall, it's no Hilton, but that's just part of the charm of boutique hotels.

This hotel was the most horrible hotel I have ever stayed at. Regardless we spent good money on it, there are a few things that stand out- 1: The heat doesnt work. For the week that we were there, the heat wouldnt go above 56 deg. And you have to submit a "ticket" online to get the temp raised. And regardless of them telling you they did it, it doesnt work. On day 4 I asked for a blanket & the blanket had long blonde hair strands that I pulled out from it. Disgusting. 2: The room was not cleaned when we got there. Since we went during this pandemic, I took out clorox wipes to wipe the tables and desk and bathroom counters.. and I picked up so much brown dust. I spent the next hour sanitizing and cleaning the room. 3: We didnt get fresh soap or replacements during our cleaning day (which was on day 3 coz we were trying to be covid conscious). Horrible service. 4: They didnt have an iron or a hair dryer in the room. Granted they are trying to be "historic" but come on. 5: The bed was allegedly a queen but it really isnt. Its more of a full. 6. The "fresh" towels had brown stains. See pic Just dont be fooled that this is on Melrose, coz it is on the outskirts but is in the part of town that is experiencing criminal activity. The only positive was the friendly (but not so useful) staff. I think the blame is on training, the mgmt company and whichever conglomerate owns this horrible property. Sooo historic, they couldnt even get a new bathtub or toilet. pics attached.

Very nice staff. Cute old but clean hotel. Enjoyed my stay and will stay again.

Palihotel Melrose has a cool vibe, the staff were delightful, but it is not an alternative for a normal hotel. It is more like a hostel or inn with private rooms. The main issues were: there are no plugs near the bed, the furniture looks better than it feels to use, and the bathroom is a little too authentically retro. In addition, the sound insulation is lacking with constant street sounds, noise from other rooms, and a horrifically loud sound that came from a water pipe vibrating at 1 AM, when someone decided to take a shower upstairs.
