金掘客飯店(Gold-Diggers)

Bed was super comfortable. The room very bright and clean. We had a record player with an eclectic selection of vinyl. The instructional booklet was a big help, and had the building history, so cool! We were there for the music, Ethio Cali and decided to stay, what a wonderfully way to spend the evening. The personal service when checking in and during our stay was outstanding.

My wife and I went to a concert and stayed in the hotel. The rooms are super cool and very hip. Great art. The concert venue cannot be topped as it sounds amazing and is very intimate and never too crowded. Fun way to spend a night out in Los Angeles!

Gold Diggers is a great Hollywood boutique hotel (only ten rooms I think). Owners Dave and Rachel have put a lot of love in the rooms which continue the music/recording theme from the on-site recording studio and music venue. My room had albums and a record player. There’s a fun club/bar venue just below with top quality music and DJs. Bartender Adam was welcoming. Recommended !

Per noi questo hotel è stata una sorpresa: in un quartiere un po' dimesso, la palazzina ha un'aria antica, dipinta di verde scuro, nessuna insegna, solo una normale porta di legno con una pulsantiera. Non sapevamo come entrare, ci hanno aperto da un portone adiacente che è quello del bar: un tipico bar americano, buio, con bancone lungo e, prima sorpresa, un piccolo palcoscenico per i concerti dal vivo. Il personale è parso subito molto cortese e disponibile, le camere (ne abbiamo cambiate due, perché siamo stati a Los Angeles in due momenti diversi) deliziose, pulite, curate nello stile e in alcuni dettagli: dalle vestaglie da camera al tappetino da yoga (con salvietta disinfettante per pulirlo), ai prodotti disponibili per la cura personale (mai visto lo shampoo secco o il gel per capelli…), al giradischi. Sul letto, in omaggio, un LP in vinile prodotto nella loro sala di registrazione. Con il check-in abbiamo ricevuto anche due ingressi con consumazione omaggio al concerto che si sarebbe tenuto quella sera. Pur avendo soggiornato più notti, abbiamo assistito alle performance dal vivo una sola volta, ed è stata una serata molto simpatica con ottima musica (ottimo anche il sidro). Pur essendo tornati in camera prima della fine del concerto, abbiamo dormito senza venire disturbati dalla musica (nel caso, però, in camera si trovano anche di tappi per le orecchie). Insomma, un soggiorno sorprendentemente gradevole, un posto nel quale torneremo di sicuro.

It’s not located in the ritziest park of town but it is definitely a gem. If you like some grit, this place is perfect. Bar below can be a little loud but there are earplugs available. Then again, they do play live music and serve great cocktails so you might be missing out if you stop listening. This is a no fuss hotel. Electronic concierge by text is super responsive. Location is super central. Music ＞ TV kinda place. Overall, this hotel just gives off a really cool vibe! I’d recommend this place to music junkies and good timers.

We are so happy we stumbled upon this hotel during our search. Very unique. The personal communication you receive while staying here was pleasantly unexpected! The hotel is also a club/bar so expect noise. But we went down to join the fun then easily walked backed to our room and knocked out with no problem. The personal touches you receive here- you will not find at most hotels. Parking was free in a parking lot that's a small walk away. You would not expect how adorable this place is from judging the neighborhood. You'll love this surprise!!!! We can't wait to come back and stay again!!!

A gritty outside to Wonderland. I was Alice, curiouser & trying all: ‘eat me’, drink me’, wear me! The amenities, bed, paintings, mobiles, art deco sconces and nouveau-mid century touches are divine.

My friend and I stayed at Gold-Diggers for two nights and it was fantastic. Everything went super smoothly, we were given thoughtful attention which was so lovely and the room was beautiful. The whole place has a great vibe and style and the cozy bar, awesome cocktails and live performance were a standout. It's a really central location for hanging out anywhere in East Hollywood, or Silverlake, Echo Park, Los Feliz. Free parking a block away was easy. I can't recommend it more and will totally be back!

This hotel / bar / music venue / recording studio is super cute and well themed. I checked in at the bar and the bouncer / doorman recognized me immediately each time he saw me after check in. This really made me feel safe - the bouncer is clearly keeping an eye on who is on the street. The bed was comfy, I really appreciated the white noise machine. The room looks exactly like the pictures. It is comfortable - bed and linens are worth the slightly pricey rate. I did notice at check out that either the pillow or pillowcase could stand to be replaced. They have a parking lot less than a block away… but I would not feel comfortable walking it at night if I was alone (female). I had my partner with me so it was fine. The parking lot is not locked and there is a manual gate. The hotel itself was super quiet, there are 2 flights of stairs. I never saw anyone else inside the hotel or in the hallways. I felt very safe in the hotel, the entry door and room doors are code operated. It’s right next to the bar so the bouncer is keeping an eye on things when the bar is open. We wanted to stay in EaHo and the location is perfect. Quick drive or ride share to Pantages, many bars and restaurants. Would definitely book again if we come back to LA!
