Very nice, and even stay with the same hotel with my friend

I arrived at the hotel on 20 November 2022 for a 5 night stay. The stay was business related and with so many hotels to choose from, I decided to go with the Porto Palacio. What an excellent choice! The hotel is absolutely brilliant - I cannot find a fault. Check-in was very smooth and on arrival to the room - wow - very modern, crisp clean sheets on the bed and a spacious room. In terms of food, the Breakfast experience was the best part of the stay for me. I have stayed in many hotels around the world - both on a personal basis and a business basis - I can honestly say that the breakfast staff at the Porto Palacio are the best I've ever come across. On arrival, I was seated quickly. On Day 1, the staff members memorised what I had that cannot be chosen by the buffet - for example, a tea and two plates (as I like two plates) - on Days 2 and for the rest of the trip, I didn't even need to ask. I was called by my Title and Surname on arrival. The whole experience was brilliant. I would like to mention a lady called Rosa and another lady (they both greet staff members at the door) - their hospitality skills are great and they are always smiling - nothing is too much for them. I didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening but had room service as personally, I like to relax after a day at the office. The food was of good quality and was tasty and piping hot. I used the gym during my stay - the gym is open to members of the public, therefore is not your usual hotel gym. It's huge - there are loads of machines and I was never waiting for someone to finish using something. Staff members are friendly. All in all - a brilliant stay and is a genuine 5 star hotel! I will return to the Porto Palacio both on a business basis and also on a personal basis - Porto looks like a great city! It's a shame that I didn't have time to look around as I had a busy schedule but I will certainly be back! Thank you!!

Estive hospedado nesta unidade hoteleira uma noite. Considero que seja mesmo para esse efeito, uma ou máximo duas noites. Staff simpático, entrada e zona de refeições limpas e acolhedoras. Os quartos deixam um pouco a desejar, pequenos mas modernos, o wc esse peca em demasia, sem circulação de ar e muito muito pequeno. Mas como disse, para uma noite serve. A insonorização peca também muito, ouve-se muito os outros hóspedes e os carros a passarem. O pequeno almoço gostei, muita variedade e sempre preocupados com a reposição dos produtos. De forma geral considero viável para pequenas estadias.

Отличный отель. Отличный сервис. В соседнем здании - большой молл с хорошим фудкортом и Ашаном. Отличный завтрак в гостинице за 15 евро. Ребенок - бесплатно. Чуть снизил оценку за местоположение - пешком кроме молла нереально куда- то дойти, но выручает безупречно работающий и недорогой Uber (7 евро до Матозиньеша).

Stayed four night as a base for Porto centre. Would give it 3.5 if possible to use halfs. Rooms were clean although showing signs of wear. Bed made up daily and fresh towels. Lack of shelf space in cupboard. Used for breakfast once but also tried the Mitica Inspiracao out of the back door twice for a more relaxed setting and no temptation to overfill v the buffet. Shower has good temperature and flow. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Nearby supermarket for anything you need. The bus from the airport took 50 mins during the morning midweek, and initially goes away from the hotel before heading back towards it. If I was doing it again I would take the Metro to Ramalde the nearest stop and then get an Uber to the hotel. The airport Metro is just behind the road at arrivals. Bus 304 seemed the quicker bus than the 300 or 301 into town. Had issues with bus reliability getting back from town after 8pm using information from route planner on Google maps .. chasing round various bus stops near the Town Hall Square to no avail. Ended up prefering to get the Metro back to Ramalde and then €3 for an Uber. Opted to use luggage lockers at Trindade Metro, €6 small for upto 12 hours rather than detour back to the hotel on the last day. Other sizes available but limited availability.
