比奇朗內斯旅館

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the Kennebec room prior to our cruise. Breakfast both mornings was wonderful. Being an introvert, B&Bs have never appealed to me but the pictures and write-ups changed my mind. I was not disappointed. The quaint house was out of a movie from my childhood 😊. So much history and uniqueness!! We walked down to the beach and along the trail both days and found a great Italian restaurant to walk to in the evening for dinner. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. We purchased some wine at a store close by and enjoyed a glass of wine 🍷 in The Beachrunner Inn’s living room after dinner. Thank you to Pat for a lovely stay. If we are ever back in Long Beach we will certainly stay here.

This is my favorite place to stay in Long Beach. Pat and her daughter have created a beautiful home to host traveling guests. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I've stayed there multiple times over the last few years and each time I've met interesting people, ate delicious breakfast (different entree each morning), and slept comfortably.

We stayed here for two nights before our cruise out of Long Beach. Pat was there to great us and showed us around. I love old homes and this house was very quaint with character. Our room was upstairs so no elevator but that was ok by us. The ceiling fan in our room kept us cool. For anyone complaining about air conditioning, most homes in CA don’t have or need it. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The neighbors next door were a little noisy but this is a house in a neighborhood. We slept in so didn’t have any breakfast which was fine for us. We hadn’t had a vacation in 3 years and we needed rest. It was close to everything and the beach is nice. The back patio wasn’t clean (leaves all over)so we couldn’t sit back there in the evening. Our room key didn’t work to lock the room door. When we got up to check out and return the keys, nobody was around. We locked the outside door and I had to drop the keys in the mail slot. I rang the ring doorbell. No answer. I called and just went to voicemail. I left a message about the keys and left. We liked the area but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

I loved every minute of my stay at this charming and welcoming gem of an inn run by a wonderfully caring mother and daughter team!!!rooms were cosy and full of character. Breakfasts a treat and so creative. My go to place always in LB!!

Beachrunner's was truly a grand surprise. It's important to remember that this is a personal residence that the host, Patricia, shares with valued guests. If you're wanting the fanciest of fancy rooms, go somewhere else. BUT, if you want a great location with charming rooms in a historic home with a host that truly makes you feel welcome and valued as a guest, this is the place! Breakfast is served each morning and was delicious and the back patio was intimate/ pleasant... totally helps you forget that you're in the middle of a city. Location is great with many attractions within walking distance as well. The plan is to return to Beachrunner's whenever we're in Long Beach as the experience of staying there was integral to our overall experience in the city. Thanks Pat for making it a memorable experience for us!

I really enjoyed staying at Beachrunners Inn. Truth be told this was my first B&B experience and I loved it. The house is very well maintained. While it is in keeping with its age (built in 1913) the owners have kept it well maintained and modernized without going overboard. The house and my room were SUPER clean. Hospitality was gracious and kind. The food was home cooked and there was plenty for me. I stayed in the Sunset Beach room (solo stay) and it was perfect for me. I found the internet service to excellent and I loved the location. Highly recommend.
