主教門民宿(Bishop Gate B&B)

Nous y avons passé une nuit pour visiter Derry. Hôte extrêmement accueillant qui donne plein de conseils pour manger et sortir le soir. Chambre petite mais propre et confortable. Emplacement top à quelques minutes à pied des fresques commémoratives et du centre-ville. Le petit déjeuner est top. Ultra copieux et délicieux.

Después de hacer la reserva me di cuenta que el check in era hasta las 18h. (Nunca he visto eso en mí vida en tantos hoteles y B&B que ya me hospedé). Como iba a llegar un poco más tarde le pregunté como se podría hacer y la respuesta fue: “Lo siento pero no habrá nadie para abrir la puerta. Yo trabajo desde muy temprano y también tengo que aprovechar la vida.” En mi opinión este señor debería cambiar de profesión porque quien trabaja con público no puede ser borde y además de tener un horario totalmente absurdo para el check in (de 14h a 18h) no tubo la sensibilidad ni la gentileza de intentar ayudar un cliente. Resultado CANCELÉ LA RESERVA Y ENCONTRÉ UN HOTEL DE MÁS CATEGORÍA POR EL MISMO PRECIO.

Prima B&B. De eigenaar geeft goeie tips en is een goede host voor zijn gasten. Kamer met badkamer voldoen prima. Locatie is 5 minuten wandelen naar het centrum van Derry. In de straat kun je goed parkeren en is gratis.

Hote tres sympathiques. Enseigne de l'établissement peu visible, mais facilement trouvable. Salle de bain, privée mais non attenante à la chambre.

Had a 1 night stay in this B&B which is perfectly situated a 10 minute walk away from Guildhall in the center of Derry. Parking was easy (on street) and Kieran (our host) welcomed us and provided loads of information about where to eat - what to see etc etc. We were the last to book so unfortunately had a small room but it was adequate. The bathroom was very small and I had to sit sideways on the loo. That aside, we thought the location, hospitality, price and fantastic breakfast compensated for any small ******* and I would highly recommend Bishops Gate B&B for a short stay in Derry.

The owner was very nice and helpful. Spent his time to explain so many things about the city to us tourists. It would be more comfortable if the bathroom was in the room, but it is okay as we didn't share it with othera. Oh, and we loved the Irish breakfast they made!

Wow. Fantastic location for a stay in Derry. Add to that a fantastic host - Ciarán - and you have a great stay. Firstly the location is great with easy street parking you will not need your car in Derry. Easy walking to town and everywhere. at breakfast Ciarán goes above and beyond, with tales of the troubles, his story around Derry and tips on places to visit and eat. But check this, at breakfast I was asking where to but some 15s - a Northern Ireland sweet treat. He told me a few places. After breakfast we went back up to our rooms, followed buy a knock at the door... It was Ciarán who had run across the road to the bakery and picked me up a couple of 15s. Wow that is what makes a great B&B

If you don’t want to sleep or have nice accommodations, book here. Owner was sweet, and it’s close to the gates, but I see why 70 pounds. Bedroom doors are inches apart and people would come in all hours of the night making noise. Also, dogs were barking out the cluttered back area until 1 am. No mention of WiFi and we find out the next morning the password is taped to the mirror near the front door. We didn’t stay for breakfast.

Absolutely loved this wee bnb. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. Delicious cooked breakfast in the morning after a restful stay in room 3. Very clean and tidy all round. We were visiting the Millennium Forum for a concert and it was literally a 10 minute walk so very handy. A straight walk into town and first port of call was Granny Annie’s which was a 6 minute walk. We will definitely be back. Thank you for your hospitality
