鮑爾房子(Bower House)

Branded as Bower house but check in address is shown, and is done at Georgian House. Staff very kind and helpful. Room excelllent.

I was taken aback when they tried putting me up in a tiny third floor room that felt more like a closet. Nothing like the photo they had on line. I was offered a much better room. Heat has no thermostat so I ended up leaving my window open. I let them know that the sink didn’t drain and that other guests’ debris was coming up. They supposedly fixed it. It continued to SLOW drain. The room needs a cosmetic overhaul. Peeling wall paper and water stains near the ceiling. It just looks tired. The mattress needs replacing. The toilet door is a joke; I couldn’t possibly close the doors with my feet inside. The staff was pleasant. The location is great, very near Victoria Bus Station and Victoria underground.

Excellent location, very good and safe neighborhood, I found it to be excellent value for money! I stayed for seven days in a single room, and it was a great experience! Very good bed, comfortable room, total privacy, really very good! The only point is that there is no elevator for luggage, but this in no way diminishes the experience. Check-in is in another building, but it is very close. I highly recommend it and would stay at Bower House again.

Staff location and cleanliness of the property are great. You have to go to another hotel to check in and get a key card. I can’t speak for other rooms but at 12 am and 3.30 am when the people in the room above were getting in and moving out I heard everything. The plumbing must go through one of the walls in the bedroom I was in as I heard every tap turned on. So if your purpose is to sleep I wouldn’t advise.

...Super stylish room (with a high ceiling) close to the Victoria Coach Station that made it super easy to depart for Heathrow the next day...Friendly staff on welcome, let me use a UK adaptor for charging my phone for the night as I had left mine at a previous hotel...Thanks Bower House, Great Job. *****

A fabulous room, spacious and clean, with a delightfully quirky bathtub. A few minutes walk from Victoria Station, it was very handy for an out-of-towner doing some shopping and family meet-ups. Excellent value for money.

The room was really pretty and the bed was comfortable. The bath was great. Could have done with a bit of a better vacuum but otherwise cleanliness was good. It is an old building so earplugs recommended but that isn't the hotel's fault! No tea or coffee making facilities and no soap (there was a pot of shampoo/shower gel so I just used that-maybe that was the intention). Really good location.

This hotel was super quaint and comfortable to stay at. The staff were super helpful, brought my luggage up, gave me an extra pillow, let me borrow the adaptor for my cell phone. A bit of a walk from the train. Experience was enjoyable and recommended for budget rooms.

Pretty good room. Plenty of Instant hot water is a plus. It was at the top of stairs, but the lovely staff member gave us a hand to lift our heavy big bags up which we were very grateful for. All the staff were great. The location is brilliant and easy walk to many attractions.
