特洛伊飯店(Troy Hotel)

old hotel, some room have very hard and old beds. Simple breakfast, nice location close to the Tube station anf Hyde park.

不錯的酒店對於你得到的東西來說有點貴。 總的來說，酒店需要翻新，而且非常重要的是，早餐工作人員很粗魯，但接待員很棒。

特洛伊酒店很好，但沒有空調房間太熱，難以入睡。早餐每天早上都一樣，基本的。

Hotel nei pressi di Kensington Gardens, posizione ideale per spostarsi comodamente a piede o con i mezzi pubblici (metro Queensway). Camere grandi, un po' datate negli arredi. Colazione poco variegata e a maggioranza salata. Personale cordiale e disponibile.

...ad un costo ragionevole. Piccolo albergo con camere di sufficienti dimensioni, bagno pulito e con (non è uno scherzo!) una qualità notevole di carta igienica!!! La colazione è essenziale ma anch'essa ragionevole. La struttura è ben posizionata: 20minuti a piedi da Marble Arch, 15minuti a pidi da Notting Hill gate (Portobello Road) e, soprattutto, vicinissimo alle fermate Bayswater e Queensway della metro.

Hotel carino, situato vicino a diverse fermate della metro da cui si raggiunge facilmente il centro. Stanza molto più ampiamente di quanto mi aspettassi. Staff gentile e sorridente. Colazione con vasta scelta. Bagno ampio e pulito. Che dire io ci tornerei

室内の設備は良好で問題なし。一時的な問題だと思うがエレベーターが故障していた。滞在した7泊目にも直らず、3階から階段でスーツケースを下ろさねばならなかった。 セントラルラインのクィーンズウエイ駅とサイクルラインのベイズウォーター駅が近くにあって便利。 ケンジントン公園とハイドパークがそばにあるのは大きな魅力。

Seriously avoid this hotel when the Nottinghill Carnival is on. Whilst the rooms were nice and the breakfast was good, we had no sleep for the two nights we were there. We knew the carnival was on but did not expect it to carry on in the street we were in when people returned to their hotel when it finished. There was in excess of 30 people congregating in the entrance of the hotel opposite and spilling out along the road. They had music coming from a van that was played excessively loud as well as shouting and cars screeching down the road. This went on until after five in the morning. When we spoke to the receptionist about this he said it was a regular occurrence when the carnival was on. When I emailed the hotel on our return home we were told we should have looked into the events that were on in the area before booking. When I asked why there wasn’t a note in their web site to advise guests there may be some noise, we were more or less told it was our fault for not checking events in the area. How are guests supposed to know find out that a continuation party was to be expected!! Someone must have contacted the police as they showed up but made no effort to move the music van along or disperse the people. If staying in London over the August bank holiday choose another hotel well away from the Bayswater area. We thought we would be but now know better.

We (mum, dad and daughter) stayed at this hotel during our latest visit to London, in June 2023. This is what we liked about it: The location: Right in front of Kensington Gardens, with easy access to public transport. The room: Small BUT neat and clean and equipped with both a kettle and a mini fridge. Hair dryer and extra pillows available. Continental breakfast and WiFi included in the price. Polite and helpful staff. Free of charge suitcase storage on departure day. Don't know about the parking situation but which tourist needs a car in London anyway?
