OYO倫敦牧羊人布什市場修道院飯店(OYO Abbey Hotel, London Shepherd's Bush Market)

First of all we paid for breakfast with Trip.com only to be told on arrival that that option is no longer available. Our room was very basic and small. We did have a kettle, coffee and tea were provided. The bed was firm but ok. The Westfield mall was opposite and the TV studios at Shepherds Bush was a short walk just up the road as was the underground WOOD LANE on the circle line via Euston station. Overall the location for our needs was great however not having the breakfast that was advertised on TRIP.COM was a letdown.So minus marks and a big boo for that Trip.com

I loved staying in Shepherd’s Bush. So handy for Central London and for late night eateries after the theatre. Easy to get back to King’s Cross too. The hotel was basic but fine. Our room wasn’t very well cleaned - not enough towels, no soap, hair in the bed, but the man at reception was helpful and sorted things. The beds were comfy and we slept well. It wasn’t expensive. We’d stay here again.

Good location, close to the tube, and friendly staff. The room I got however was nowhere close to the one o had bought. On the web a twin room was bright, spacious, with windows, just a normal standard room (it was showed a few different twin rooms, all with similar categories). I got a room in the basement, cramped, with 2 tiny windows, rundown, smelly, extremely noisy and very dirty. When complaining there was nothing reception could do. I complained the chain and they didn’t care much about it either. If you do book I advise you to ensure in advance the room you will get is actually the ones you are buying.

Ok, s it’s cheap, but was disappointed to be given a twin room after booking a double (being 6’ and on the large size I can’t sleep in a single). The walls are paper thin and you could hear every noise from adjacent rooms. Very unlikely to re-book.

This was our 3rd time staying at this hotel for Nottinghill Carnival. The hotel only provides one key per room so it difficult to coordinate. They give the option of leaving the key at the front desk but reception is not 24 hours (you also need a key to enter the hotel itself). We misplaced this key on our last day and was charged £45. Our first day we arrived late, get ready and went out. We came back late at night to one of the beds soaked in urine; mattress, sheets and all bedding. As no one was at the desk we had to wait until the next morning for it to be addressed. The mattress was changed but no compensation given. A simple "apologies for the inconvenience" was all we received. The manager is friendly and kind however monitora comings and goings. We were not allowed to have a friend come to the room to pick something up. It's a shame we had this experience as the location is great. We will not be returning as their lack of concern about hygeine and cleanliness mixed with no freedom to come and go as we please is enough for us to not return.

Booked this hotel for a one night stay as my previous booking was cancelled due to the fact the hotel was closing! Original hire price £83 this shot up to £175 for a 2 single bed room, no breakfast. Everything about this hotel was shocking. Took down to the basement (Room 1) by the man on reception who wasn’t friendly or welcoming at all. The room was small with 2 tiny windows opening into the hallway so no outside windows at all. I thought at least it’d be quiet. How wrong I was!! Paper thin walls and ceilings meant we could hear everything, even people going to the toilet. Disturbed at 2am by people arriving at their rooms. You could hear absolutely EVERYTHING. Other grievances: We could not lock the front door to the hotel with our key so had to leave it open, there was no sugar with the complementary tea/coffee and no one in the morning at reception to ask for any. No hot water the night we stayed and luke warm in the morning, no idea where the breakfast room was in the photographs as there wasn’t one. The price for one night was extortionate, but I had no choice because everything had increased so much in price. It is not a 3 star, I’ve stayed in way better 3 star hotels and this was a joke. A warning DO NOT stay here!!

The difficulty I have with rating hotels is how much the rating should reflect what you paid for your stay. In this case, we paid £100 for a 2 night stay. It was booked well in advance but even so, in Shepherd's Bush (somewhere we find a great base for a London trip - easy to access from the West, good Tube connections, a good selection of pubs and safe, reasonably priced parking at the Westfield), we weren't expecting luxury. We got pretty much what was advertised - the check in process was friendly and efficient, the room was small but well maintained and clean, and the Shower was hot and powerful. Our room was at the back and very quiet with hardly any traffic noise despite having the window open, although you could hear other residents within the hotel. The Wi-fi was free and easy to access, although not that fast and the room contained all we needed - Tea, Coffee a TV and a hair dryer. If you want a room that is a base - somewhere to sleep, change and shower whilst in London, and you can get it at a competitive rate, then this does the job nicely.

we book this place because of nice photo on there website but nothing like the room was real, good location but room not sound probe can hear everything people wake on top floor, floor clicking false advertising TRRRIBLE TRRRIBLE BLANKET so not for me and not recommend to you.
