歐米茄飯店(The Omega Hotel)

Ottima posizione e un buon posto per farmarsi per breve soggiorno se siete di passaggio. Sconsiglio per lunghi soggiorni perche non ha ascensore le camere singole sono all ultimo piano essenziali ma piccoline con un bagno tipo da caravan doccia molto piccola e lavabo tutto in spazio stretto. Siamo scesi presto all apertura della Colazione ma non era completa mancavano diverse cose e dovevamo partire presto. Offre te nella reception.

I can't imagine under which circumstances this hotel can be a good choice. Very noisy front rooms, the smell of the room was really bad, probably emerging from an old carpet. Light would enter the room at 6am since the blinds were fairly unsufficient to keep light out. The bathroom is a pre-fabricated PVC module stuffed in a corner of the room. You can hardly fit in there, let alone have a shower without having real trouble. Very uncomfortable altogether. No table, no room to place the suitcase. Service is that of a youth hostal, friendly, but then again, prices belonged to an executive 4 star rated hotel. No room service whatsoever. Breakfast on the basement until 9am was OK, homely made. It was expected that rooms not facing Sussex Gardens were quieter.

Our room, which was very basic and lacking in character for an older building was on the third floor and there is no lift. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, only in the foyer. If you have mobility problems, avoid. The saving grace was breakfast which was well organised, hence two stars rather than one.

Accueil gentil. L’hôtel est très bien situé, à 5 min de la gare de Paddington et le métro. L’hôtel est dans une rue assez jolie, au milieu de plein d’autres hôtels. Nous avions la chambre 1 située au sous-sol avec une fenêtre qui donnait sur une courette. La chambre était toute petite et ressemblait à une cabine de bateau : il n’était pas possible de se croiser à 2 autour du lit, avec la porte de la salle de bain qui cognait sur le lit. Mais elle était propre. Le petit déjeuner a le mérite d’exister mais n’est pas fameux. Café ou thé sont proposés par la serveuse. Possibilité de demander des toasts mais c’est tout. Il y a un buffet assez restreint avec bun, jambon, fromages, yaourts, gâteau au chocolat, céréales, œuf dur et jus. Le plus : la situation géographique, la propreté Le moins: la taille de la chambre

Less than 10 minutes walk from Paddington Station. Greeted by Simon on Reception who was very welcoming and informative about the area. We were given a little map with places that Simon recommended for eating etc. There was no need for us to leave Paddington, everything we needed for a friends catch-up was on our doorstep, from French Pastries to a Passion Fruit Cocktail. Highly recommend, spotlessly clean and a very adequate breakfast was included in the price. I will use this hotel again.

El hotel está muy bien comunicado y en una zona segura, y la atención muy cercana. :)

Var forberedt på, at værelset ville være småt - alligevel var det mindre end forventet, og det lå i kælderen. Badeværelset bestod primært af plastik. Vi frøs under hele opholdet, for det trak fra vinduet. Havde været ok, hvis hotellet havde været billigt, men for 205 GBP pr. nat, havde jeg forventet mere

The hotel experience offered by Omega is very far from sensational, but, it is good value for what you get. The positives: very clean overall and the beds are very comfortable. If you opt for a single room, it it very small indeed, especially the bathrooms which are TINY. Our single rooms were on the very top floor - a mammoth 5 flights (if not more!) of stairs, with no lift. I was given the wrong room on arrival - walked in to find someone else's belongings, then had to change room. Reception staff not particularly engaging with guests. The breakfast is quite poor. It is continental, which is fine, but the breakfast room is so dull. A small room that echoes, you can hear everyone's everything. People actually whisper to each other rather than talk normally! Easily fixed with at least a radio on in the background? The lady in charge of breakfast, however, was very pleasant and polite. The location is fantastic, owing to the fact that it is literally around the corner from Paddington station. Doubt I would stay again.
