We have been staying here for a number of years each time we are in town visiting my brother. Last time we were disappointed as we were in an incredibly noisy room near to a function room, but all else was great.
This time the hotel was great in advance and had us booked in a quiet room.
However, each morning of our two night stay there was no hot water for the shower. Not what I expect from a hotel, especially given sub zero temperatures outside.
Further, the room was very dusty and not of a cleanliness level I would expect.
We also booked a taxi for 10am on the first morning and it did not arrive until 10:20 causing us to miss my nieces.
The staff were friendly, but no notes made on any of the issues reported, given the reception staff were unaware at check out. The breakfast charge was also wrong.
The staff member did credit the breakfast, but I am still bitter given that I paid £609 for our 2 night stay.
