吉利柚木度假村(Gili Teak Beach Front Resort)

Beautiful location at sunset side of the island, direct beach access with plenty of possibilities to relax. Very good breakfast and dinner (possible directly at the beach). Rooms are spacious and had the most stunning (halfway) outdoor bathroom in our 1 month travel time! Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the island!

Très très bel hôtel, calme, beau, serein et idéalement placé sur l'île. Vous êtes proche du quartier festif et suffisamment éloigné pour ne pas en avoir le bruit. Ils mettent des vélos à disposition si vous ne voulez pas contribuer à l'exploitation de ces malheureux chevaux. L'île étant plate tout est a porté d'un coup de pédale. L'apéritif au soleil couchant est fabuleux. Très propre et décoration typique de très bon goût. Le petit déjeuner est parfaitement réalisé et convient aux mangeurs de viandes comme aux végétariens. La noix de coco fraîche + rhum : je vais y rêver tout le reste de ma vie. Bref, laissez vous porter dans ce petit paradis, vous ne serez pas déçu !

Myself and my partner had booked another place which was horrendous So we decided to find somewhere else to stay for our last two nights we came across Gili team Boutique resort and what I find We booked for 2 nights At this beautiful little place The hotel is beach located with around 10 little villas which all have the same layout surrounded by beautiful gardens Our villa was number 9 The room was beautiful So clean , comfortable bed great aircon With teakwood flooring that lead out to a amazing out door bathroom with double rainfall shower heads one of the best I’ve had in my many travels W Each bathroom has its own pond filled with Koi fish The staff are just lovely and always greeted us with a smile , Hery who showed us the room when we first looked is a real credit to this place , such a lovely man Breakfast is Either in the restaurant, all you can eat it on the beach where they have tables and chairs, beach lounges, and hammocks to swing your day away on Or you could also lazy your day away by the pool Each room has bikes so we spent quite a number of hours cycling around the island We truly didn’t want to leave Would we return… in a heartbeat… we highly recommend this beautiful place you will not be disappointed

They must stop calling themselves 'Boutique'. If you get assigned Room number 4, I highly recommend you to run away. It was my third time to be Gili Teak Resort and it was very unpleasant experience that 4 nights I spent here this time. The very first day, super bad smell(like pee smell) came from the room. It was very strong, and also there were very annoying and loud noise came from bath room(I shoot multiple videos). Because of those two reasons, me and my sister could not sleep at all, so I asked them to change room. The staff called Nelly, she promised me to change room next day. I kept asking her whether it is already confirmed from the manager, and she said she got a confirm from her manager. When Tomorrow comes, the other staff who is called Hery, he said he had been informed of what happened last night. so I told him I had finished talking to Nelly last night, and had agreed to change room, so it is not a problem anymore. But Hery said she hasn't been told that. I was told to change rooms, so I got up at dawn and packed everything, and I had to leave the room right away because I had a reservation for a snorkeling tour in the morning. So I told him to contact his manager, he knows the situation. Before leaving the accommodation for the tour, I asked him again if he had contacted the manager, and he clearly replied that he had been contacted and confirmed about changing rooms. But about 30 minutes later, I was on the boat for a snorkeling tour when he called and told me he contacted to his manager, and changing rooms is unavailable. I was really angry, but I was on tour and didn't want to spoil the mood of the trip, so I asked him to talk about it later, but he asked for five minutes, and for five minutes, he said his manager told him not to change rooms, and he said, full of excuses. When I asked what was the promise you guys made last night, He answered something completely out of context, like Nelly is not a manager which is I know btw, and gave me weird answers as if he didn't understand English. I was very disappointed and angry, but I put up with the idea that my holidays were more important. After a day like that, all the staff at Gili Teak Resort stopped talking to us, never checking what it was like last night, and whether the noise and smell were okay. It was like, they didn't check room condition on purpose because they knew what feedback would come if they asked us a question. Then for the remaining three nights, my sister and I spent very disappointing time due to the noise in the bathroom, the smell of the room, and the broken auxiliary facilities (even the window blinds are broken and won't go up). It had been a good accommodation that I visited every time when I went to Gili Trawangan, but I'm sad that it's gotten worse. I'll never visit again.

Beautiful Homely resort on the western edge of the island . It's one of the best places to relax and watch a mesmerizing sunset. Sunsets of Gili are exquisite and if you are there you cannot miss it. The best part, an open washroom with a koi pond in it . The rooms are cozy and beautiful and staff are excellent. The food deserves a special mention. Absolutely worth every penny of your hard earned money.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed. The staff were friendly and attentive. The facilites are well mantained and spotless with amazing bungalows. Food is very well presented and delicious. Great location with private beach and perfect spot for the sunset. The complimentary bikes to ride around the island were a nice touch. It was my partner’s birthday and the hotel had kindly organised cake and really nice decoration in the room. We will definitely be staying again!

Endroit très agréable pour se poser à Gili par contre pensez à réserver votre séjour pendant les jours de marée haute en journée sinon vous vous retrouverez à regarder une longue bande de rien rochers sans pouvoir vous baigner. Sinon l’endroit est calme mais quand même vous aurez droit à de la musique du matin au soir sur la plage notamment de la part des établissements voisins qui poussent la sono à fond. Vraiment dommage mais c’est à l’image de cet Île où le silence est banni. Et puis dernière remarque, tous les établissements, Gili teak compris, installent des poufs “poire” sur la plage qui laissent échapper leur perles en polystyrène que vous retrouvez sur les plages et dans l’eau, un vrai désastre écologique…

Nous avons un regret, ne pas être resté plus longtemps. La chambre est magnifique, la salle de bain extraordinaire avec son bassin de poissons derrière la douche, il y a tout ce qu'il faut comme transat et autre équipement. Les vélos mis à disposition sont un gros plus. Le personnel est charmant, mention particulière à Hery qui est aux petits soins. Bref, c'est le top.

I want to make a very concise comment and close to the reality of the hotel. The location is 1.5 km from the port of Gili Trawagan and is in the sunset area. I stayed here only 2 nights, the location hosts several wooden villas with a small terrace in front of the bedroom and the outdoor bathroom. As a concept, they are similar to the ones in the Maldives, but I have no connection as they are very crowded and placed on a wagon-style line. The grade that this "let's say hotel" has is a very high one and probably some customers give a high grade for the position it occupies and for the beach. We had room no. 4 where it requires real rehabilitation. The wood is untreated, there are no curtains in this mini-house, only curtains to let the light outside, the air conditioner needs to be washed and sanitized because it is full of mold, the door between the bedroom and the bathroom is defective, it opens with great difficulty even if I am a man in strength and I also do sports, the bathroom also being outdoors where it is exposed to humidity and rain urgently needs total rehabilitation. The breakfast service is very slow, the portions are tiny and some ingredients are missing from the plate. 2 days in a row I told them that I was missing avocado from my plate and they replied that they were sorry but they didn't have any more. The service is slow, I have a hard time understanding English and often the portions are incomplete. The note you find here and on Booking is not one to reflect these things put separately but together. I have seen that there are other such comments from other customers. Please take into account that the hotel beach will not be the only ones staying in the hotel :( Starting at 5 pm, many people will gather for the sunset. As a conclusion: - the cottages/accommodation grade 3 out of 5 - breakfast 3 out of 5 - service 3 out of 5 - hotel beach 5 out of 5
