Great resort in Gili Meno, amazing staff and good food great service !!

The villa was clean, comfortable, and the a/c worked well. Located on a beautiful beach where turtles swim by in the mornings. Food was excellent, will definitely come back.

Everything nice

I can confidently say that this hotel is the best on the island, even above the "luxury" Bask investment villas close by. This is because while staying at Mahamaya, we didn't see a single mosquito the whole time despite dining outdoors, whether morning, noon, and night. Within 5 minutes of sitting down to dinner at Bask, my dining companion (who has the genetic mosquito pheromones that attract them) was bitten four times. The rooms are clean and stylish, and the service is excellent. We were given iced tea welcome drinks upon arrival, check-in was a breeze, they showed us the interest points of the island, and they showed us everything in the room. The hotel has an eco-friendly approach with the rooms designed for airflow and they don't use plastic bottles water, instead there is a cold water dispenser in each room. There are two pools and the rooms open up to the pools. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the room, through the restaurant and bam, right there. Unlike going to the beach in America (pack everything up, fight for parking, trudge over hot sand to find a spot on the crowded beach, feel uncomfortable with sand all over you in the car ride back), Mahamaya had the beach right there and your room is a 1 minute walk to shower after swimming. They have snorkeling gear you can use for free (there is a lot of coral under the water though, so you need to be a strong swimmer to swim out to be deep enough to snorkel). Mahamaya faces west and is a very beautiful sunset spot. There's also a restaurant a few doors down that has a fire show and live music at sunset. The dining is open air, and you can dine for lunch under the covered area to escape the hot sun and then take dinner at the tables on the beach at night with your toes in the sand. On traveling with Celiac (I am not that sensitive to cross-contamination): I think Mahamaya and Bubbles Bar & Restaurant are the only two that label their dishes if they are gluten free. However, you need to use your celiac card (the one from EasyEats will do) to explain that you cannot eat gluten-containg products. The Vietnamese rice rolls came with a soy sauce dipping sauce so I asked them to change to fish sauce. The Nasi Goreng has an Indonesian sweet soy sauce and I didn't know which brand, so I wasn't sure if it was gluten free. Ask for no Chinese soy sauce and no Indonesian soy sauce (you must specify that you don't want either). I'll save you the trouble of asking about the burgers - the paddies are prepared in advance the Aussie way, aka with breadcrumbs. Instead, get the steak which was filet mignon at an unbeatable price and was one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life. Top 5. It was low season so the staff remembered me and my orders from day to day and could guess what I wanted to order. 😂 All the staff were very kind and helpful. L'hotel mahamaya Gili Meno est très bien placé face a la plage, avec deux belles piscines au pied des chambres, la restauration est bien, les petits déjeuners également, on est a deux pas pour des spots de snorkeling avec des tortues et des statues au fond de l'eau. Le personnel est très agréable, je le recommande.

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans l’une des 2 villas de l’hotel . L’emplacement face à l’ocean est top avec un grand transat privé pour admirer les beaux couchers de soleil . La literie est confortable , le lit et la salle de bain sont immenses . La grande douche est extérieure et très agréable . Le service est prévenant , les repas variés et très bons . Il y a poissons grillés au barbecue une fois par semaine . Les dîners sont pied dans le sable . Le plus de l’emplacement est que juste devant , des tortues viennent se nourrir chaque jour donc impossible de les rater . Les statues sous l’eau sont aussi très proches de l’hotel . Bref un bon moment pour la détente et la farniente . Le petit bémol du séjour est le fait que les marées sont relativement importantes ce qui empêche les bains de mer durant la totalité de la journée . L’hotel du coup bénéficie de 2 piscines bien agréables .

Questa struttura è stata perfetto, dall'inizio alla fine e sotto qualsiasi punto di vista. Il letto è il più comodo in cui io abbia mai dormito, arredamento curato con stile, camera spaziosa, acqua a disposizione in camera, ristorante eccezionale, colazione ottima con uova cucinate a regola d'arte. Le piscine (2) pulitissime ed attrezzate di tantissimi tipi di lettino diversi, mare spettacolare e possibilità di organizzare escursioni direttamente dall'hotel. Il personale è stato eccellente nel suo lavoro e soprattutto gentilissimo. Grazie perché è stato tutto perfetto, questo è il paradiso terrestre 🥰

Siamo stati benissimo! La camera è spaziosa, letto largo e comodissimo e boccione di acqua potabile per borracce(in dotazione). Le camere si affacciano su uno spazio comune in cui ci sono 2 piscine, lettini, alcune vele e ombrelloni offrono riparo al caldo sole. Colazione eccezionale e staff cortese, competente e disponibile. Davanti c'è la spiaggia con ombrelloni e sdraio e la posizione è ottima sia per fare snorkeling che per vendere il tramonto. Tante tartarughe vicinissime a riva, abbiamo nuotato più volte con loro. Ci ritorneremo, ci abbiamo lasciato il cuore!
