"My trip , was disrupted before we even arrived at the hotel, we contacted Alison at the Village In to advise her we would be much later than expected and have to leave earlier than expected the next day. "Really enjoyed our stay here. Gorgeous surroundings. The staff were all lovely but they could do with more. Sometimes we couldn’t find them as they had multiple jobs. The food was lovely, as was the breakfast. Lovely croissants! All rooms had lovely high ceilings and the rooms were lovely. My only criticism was the bathroom - very dated and needs attention. Thanks for the laughs and for making us feel so welcome."

"Checked out this morning after a great one night stay. Guests are actively encouraged to enjoy the various seating areas both inside and out. On arrival, we were invited to have a pot of tea in the sunny courtyard. Later we had a thoughtfully prepared evening meal in the lovely dining area. We booked this a week earlier after Morag had emailed to ask our preferences. Breakfast was of equal quality as well being generous. I loved the table settings the art work and the home made bread! The room had good quality bed linen, towels, body wash and coffee tray. Very quiet for sleeping and in a well kept, friendly village. ❤️"
