The Min Y Don is an absolute gem of a place. Would highly recommend and hopefully we will be back soon. The guest house is run by Sharon and Paul who are the best at what they do. Our room was gorgeous with lovely sea views the attention to detail was great. You get a mini fridge with treats and snacks left to help yourself. The bed was so comfortable. Choice of breakfast in a morning was great and cooked superbly. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and the whole house is immaculate.

Me and my younger brother stayed here after a two day trek and the welcome by Sharon and Paul was a wonderful surprise. So homely and full of smiles. We were late to check in - about 8pm but Sharon had told me on the phone beforehand to let them know if it’ll be after 6pm (not sure if it says to let them know if after 6pm on booking dot com but I knew as I’d phoned them when booking) so we phoned and let them know and they were totally fine with this suggesting food takeaway options etc. (note we phoned them at about 5pm on the day- give them more notice if you can perhaps just to be nice - we were in the mountains hiking). Very nice genuine people and Paul has a nice sense of humour. Breakfast was great if you phone in advance I think they can provide different options like veggie sausage if you want it. Room was excellent and comfy with a load of freebie snacks and fruit juice etc. Thank you again Sharon and Paul for a wonderful welcome

Excellent views from our room "Great Orme" spacious with all the comforts you could wish for. Sharon and Paul are lovely, genuine people and obviously care a great deal in providing you with a great place to stay. Breakfast is 2nd to none, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. We have stayed in dozens of establishments, however, this is by far the best!

We enjoyed a delightful experience at Min-y-Don! The Great Orme room was immaculate, spacious, and filled with welcoming details including snacks and drinks. Paul & Sharon are such excellent hosts, both friendly and helpful. Thanks to their recommendation, we enjoyed a lovely steam engine train ride across Snowdonia. Their made to order breakfasts were delicious and cheerfully served. On our last morning, Paul topped off our wonderful stay by performing some impressive magic tricks!

Worth every penny, from the welcome (2 worn out, scruffy hikers) to the detail in the room (Penmon Point) to the history stories from Paul to the breakfast from Sharon. We really felt pampered and like a guest in their house funny that! Quality experience.

My wife & myself, stopped here for a few days last year, to celebrate a special birthday. The Guest House, rooms, were immaculately clean, the breakfasts were amazing and the owners were so welcoming, nice & pleasant. A very enjoyable stop & highly recommend.
