Hotel is desperate need of a good clean. Externally looks great but inside is a different story altogether. Room (307) was dusty, coffee machine should be thrown out (it was that dirty/unhygienic), cups and teaspoons hadn’t been cleaned (presumably from the previous occupancy), bathroom door looked like it had been splashed with toothpaste and the window needed cleaning both inside and out. Told the lady on reception about the coffee machine,cups and spoons and the unclean bathroom door on the first morning. I was told she would tell housekeeping to sort everything out, so we left for the day hoping to come back to a much cleaner room. When we returned none of the issues had been addressed, so we cleaned the cups, spoons and door ourselves, and didn’t use the coffee machine throughout our stay. Really disappointed as we stayed here before the pandemic and it was lovely, but it seems the new owners are more interested in spending money on a new spa area, rather than looking after and maintaining what they already have.
