Wooooaaah, superbe hôtel, le service au top, les chambres spacieuse avec tout ce qu'il faut. Le petit déjeuner c'est un vrai repas avec des produits de qualité. Le personnel au petit soin d'une gentillesse simplement génial. La seule chose qui nous a dérangé c'est la ventilation dans la salle qui s'enclenche 2 fois par jour pendant 3 heures et qui est très bruyante. Idem pour la climatisation (chauffage) qui fait beaucoup de bruit.

Un hôtel fantastique avec un personnel au petit soin, de chambres spacieuse qui ne manque de rien, un petit déjeuner qui ressemble plus tôt a un repas avec des produits de qualité et placé en plein centre historique de Lisbonne. Seule chose a remédier c'est la ventilation de la salle de bain et la climatisation qui font trop de bruit, vraiment dommage.

Rarely does a hotel meet all of your needs. Staying at Verride Palacio for the past 6 days was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The location is perfect, hotel is immaculate and the staff is AMAZING! I've stayed in many 5 star hotels all over the world and this one is definitely at the top. From an absolutely delicious breakfast every morning with great service, the different selection of cake and cookies every day, fabulous restaurant and amazing rooftop terrace for cocktails at sunset while enjoying gorgeous views - everything was perfect. Every single staff member was super attentive and helpful with anything I needed. They went above and beyond giving me directions each day, and suggested great sites to see, restaurants, and shops, through out my stay. I can't thank them enough for making my visit to Lisbon so special and absolutely wonderful!!!

We absolutely loved this hotel! It is extremely well done , in a great location w a wonderful staff. The “ custom ordered “ breakfast was like having a private chef cook for us each day. Our room was well appointed. ( loved the Aesop products! ). We used the services of the concierge for a driver for tours and dinner reservations. All were great. We ended each night with a cocktail at their roof bar. I can’t recommend this hotel enough !

We are so glad we chose to stay here - everything was wonderful and we felt well taken care of. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located - we were able to walk to many attractions and the neighborhood was fun to explore. The staff's attention to detail and pride in the hotel was evident - from reception, to the restaurant to housekeeping - everyone was friendly and professional. We felt taken care of and welcomed by everyone we encountered. Just after booking, we read some negative reviews about the Bica rooms that made us nervous enough to wonder if we should upgrade. After seeing our room in person (Bica 7), we felt much better, and by the end of our stay, we knew we would be happy to stay in that room again. The Bica rooms are not 'in the basement' as some other reviews have stated. While they are on floors below main reception, keep in mind that the hotel is on a steep hill and these rooms look out over the downward slope. Our floor to ceiling windows were still above street level, and we were afforded a beautiful view of the pedestrianized old town streets below. Yes, there are some buildings across the streets with windows that face the hotel, but we never felt a lack of privacy - for one, the room had sun shade blinds on all windows that diffused the bright Portuguese sunlight, but they also provided privacy from anyone who might happen to look into our room from the windows across the street (they didn't). It is something anyone who has lived in a city would be familiar and comfortable with. We heard street noise only when the garbage was being collected, and the windows provided enough soundproofing to ensure that noise was very light and brief. Our room was very spacious, and even with the sun shades down, there was plenty of natural light and it felt airy and gracious. The AC kept the room comfortable, and we were happy to spend the hottest hours of each day relaxing in the room. The bed was huge (and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in). The bathroom is small, but beautifully designed. The shower water pressure was glorious and we appreciated the Aesop toiletries. The hotel was currently doing renovations on our floor, but you would never know it. There were a few discreet renovation notices on doors and we saw some workmen during the day, but the sound was well insulated behind multiple doors and we were never disturbed. The privacy was actually remarkable - even though the hotel was fully booked during our stay, it was never noisy and we never felt crowded. We saw other guests occasionally, but it never felt like we were competing for space in the common areas or for the staff's attention. We enjoyed lunch and cocktails at the rooftop bar every day (I do not drink and appreciated the no-alcohol cocktail options), and our visit to Suba on the last night was nothing short of exceptional. Sono stata a Lisbona ed ho soggiornato 4 giorni in questa villa antica molto bella divenuta hotel di charme. La camera era spaziosa, luminosa,con vista sul fiume e pulitissima. Il personale davvero molto gentile : era il compleanno di mio marito e dall’Italia ho chiesto all’hotel di organizzare al nostro arrivo un tour della città in tuk tuk, il giorno dopo mi hanno procurato una bravissima guida che ci ha illustrato i più bei monumenti della città durante tutta la giornata e il terzo giorno sempre l’hotel mi ha procurato una macchina super confort con autista che ci ha porta a Sintra e poi fino all’oceano. Davvero tutto perfetto e la comodità davvero eccezionale è’ stata quella di saldare il tutto al check out. Ma non è finita: a mezzanotte mi hanno fatto trovare bordo piscina torta, champagne , candeline e palloncini per festeggiare il compleanno di mio marito! Davvero fantastici! Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff.

As a well traveled and seasoned international traveler I consider myself adequately qualified to write an objective review on this overpriced and over rated hotel. Whereas the room was modern and more than adequate size, below are some of the negative observations that I found most frustrating. 1) The main lighting control for the room is ancient and very poorly positioned in the narrow entrance to the room, situated about 1 meter high. It was not possible to read the the poorly highlighted designated dime sized black switch without having to virtually lie on the floor. I question why this panel was not positioned at eye level. 2) There was not one wall socket to enable one to charge an IPhone, I Pad and / or computer. In fact the coffee maker, desk lamp and other power cords had to be removed from the fully used electrical floor sockets to allow for the use of an adapter / cable charger. 3) The so called clothes closet was only about 24 inches wide, and totally inadequate. 4) The open bathroom shower was complicated to use, made even worse by round wall controls that were difficult turn with wet hands. 5) The so called city view was of the back street adjoining houses and streets with an old toilet bowl directly on the roof opposite our room. 6) On inspection I immediately asked if another room was available to which I never received any response or acknowledgement from the hotel management during our stay. Overall a very disappointing experience.
