聖本圖旅館(House Sao Bento)

Les points positifs : une très bonne situation, un prix convenable, un lit très confortable. Les points négatifs : l'endroit est beaucoup moins cool que ne le fait croire le site internet, ma chambre, au rez-de-chaussée, donnant juste sur un arrêt de bus. Dans la catégorie, j'ai cru réserver une chambre de 24 m2, c'est ce qu'indique le site, j'ai dû mal lire, car ma chambre n'était franchement pas grande - c'est énervant. Je passe sur l'odeur de renfermé dans la salle d'eau dans le couloir, et le bruit, surtout intérieur pour le coup : les ébats dans la chambre d'à côté, la java à l'étage au-dessus, et les autres clients tentant d'ouvrir la porte avec un code capricieux. Enfin, une communication erratique par mail avec le personnel, vu que la réception n'est (théoriquement) ouverte que de 9h30 à 14h30 (elle ne l'était pas quand je suis arrivé à 13h30) - Ca a été en particulier très, très compliqué de savoir où je pouvais laisser ma valise pendant quelques heures en partant. Et stressant. Bref, franchement décevant !

didn’t specify anywhere that it was a share house, expected it to be a hotel however had to share a bathroom with countless random people. upon arrival there were no staff members to show us around or give us a key. We only saw a staff member on our second last day. if we knew it was a share house, we would have stayed in a hotel.

gestão de reservas com erros (?) sucessivos, tudo tratado apenas por sms sem nunca ter contacto cara a cara com ninguém da guesthouse. não pude, ao contrario do inicialmente afirmado, prolongar a estadia por mais uma noite. pior foi terem anulado o segundo dia da estadia após horas antes terem confirmado a reserva dessa noite por sms, tal como acordado por telefone. isto num fim de semana em que não havia vagas nas zonas próximas e em que afirmaram que iam receber um grupo grande na noite da reserva anulada. boas instalações, relação comercial deplorável.

My first time staying in a place like this and I can’t complain, I felt safe and it was clean also in a good location for eat affordably from local establishments.

Pedro is an Amazing person, he is very helpful, generous and makes you feel at home. The guesthouse is beautiful and very artistic. The overall service and facilities are 5 star in my opinion. I will definitely be staying here every time I visit Lisbon.

Next to the Prime Minister's residence, just about 1km from downtown (historic center), I found this lodging experience very convenient and comfortable. My room had a private bathroom (some rooms have separate bathrooms) and was very spacious, with a balcony giving to a courtyard. Each room is decorated differently, with design and antique furniture, which adds to the experience. Staff is not always present, so it is necessary to make arrangements for check-in at odd hours. There is a common kitchen where one can prepare breakfast and meals (essential items are provided). This guest-house occupies the first floor of and old building, with two wings. One is more recent than the other.

Booked an ensuite room at House Sao Bento for 5 nights. got a call from them on morning of departure advising as we were arriving late there would be no-one to let us in, fair enough, they said I would get a text shortly with details to gain access, also fair enough. Afternoon flight and still waiting for access details, called them and was told would be within the hour, nothing sent until about 6pm, presumably when 'reception' was closing. On landing in Lisbon text came through with details of access codes, and details of 'private bathroom across corridor from the kitchen' not an ensuite, it was late so had to go there. On arrival got in and found the bedroom allocated, no en-suite (I had paid extra for) and not even the key for the private bathroom across the corridor I had meant to be allocated. When I saw a couple of ladies from an adjacent room using the 'allocated bathroom' I asked them, they told me they had also paid for an ensuite and when they complained they were given the key for the one we were promised!!! The public bathroom shared with everyone on the floor was basic, shower didn't fir on the holder on the wall, so you had to hold it to shower. Place is more like a hostel, which is fine if that is what you expect and pay for. We left after the first night and have lodged a complaint with **********, I will also be arranging a chargeback if they do not refund the unused nights, as it was not what was advertised, but NO ensuite, and no staff onsite even next day

The property is very nice, check in was perfect, room is very nice and clean the whole premises were very nice, the only drawback (and our fault for not noticing when rerving) were the shared bathrooms
