Beautiful place. Very green and fresh clean air. The waiters are so friendly. Especially Fredrick in dinning. It was Ramadan and he showed respect for me and trying to help me to get food in the time of Iftar and Sahoor. It was a really good and refreshing experience.

Downside: The food, oh the food. First it was cold as it got to us. Granted Limuru is cold but probably if the the food was covered as its brought to the tables, it might have still been warm. I would love to give a positive review, but the food was really bad. The chips were yellow and dry. Tasted like they were reheated. Worst steak i ever tasted too. The premises are beautiful but the food part lots of improvement.

One will not return to Brackenhurst for high end lodging or food, though both are adequate. In fact, if you’re a “nit-picker,” you’ll find plenty to keep you busy. You’ll return because of the one of a kind serene environment that has been painstakingly restored to indigenous, natural glory. You’ll return because of the polite staff and the vision of a management that seeks to conserve this gem, preferring innovation in eco-consciousness to the latest shiny and new.

Beautiful place but terrible customer services. It took them about an hour to take our order and almost 2 hours to deliver. The food was cold and tasteless and the smoothie was served in a funny looking can.

My experience with ‘RESERVATIONS’ was terrible. Wear your “Patience Armor”, thank me later. Quick Tip – document everything during discussions (remember to share a copy with the staff handling your booking) or better still, record your conversations. I will not bother to go into the birthday event experience, let me leave that to your imagination.

Beautiful green lawns, amazing weather, naturally ventlated halls and excellent service all through. Patrick Kung'u stood out during Lunch service. Kudos to him and the team that served us the scrumptious Meals. I can't wait to come back and perhaps spend a night or 2

I loved the staff etiquette and customer service, I was served by Rose and Charity. The cycling trail through the tea farm was great and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure in the cool highlands of Limuru. The bikes are of superb quality and well maintained.

The facility appears to be understaffed.There is no variety in the food offered in the buffet,and the food offered is genuinely flat,not tasty at all. Our bathroom wasn't cleaned during our stay, despite the fact that room service came in. They also don't offer any beverages or hot water inside the rooms,which is a bit strange considering the facility is in a cold place. There are no children friendly activities at all. Overall my experience was underwhelming. I don't recommend Brackenhurst for family staycations

Food is great and location is wonderful with access to great walks and the little forest across the road. However the rooms are tired and dirty and really need some love. Our mattress sagged in the middle. They use multiple horrible blankets to keep off the cold which is heavy and uncomfortable rather than a more modern duvet where the duvet cover can be washed with every guest. Hot water bottles are also a nice touch but I wonder if the covers get washed between guests… Please get rid of the blankets!
