薩弗伊飯店(The Savoy Hotel)

Amazing stay at the executive room. Great service from the staff and room is clean. Very near restaurants too.

Decisamente sotto le aspettative. Innanzitutto su due ascensori per otto piani uno era fuori servizio (per entrambi i giorni della mia permanenza) con relative attesa interminabili. In secondo luogo avevo espressamente chiesto una camera lontano da fonti rumorose e di tutta risposta sono stato dislocato direttamente sotto l'area adibita ai motori dei climatizzatori. Fatto presente una prima volta mi è stato detto che la sera il rumore sarebbe terminato (cosa che ovviamente non è avvenuta). Ribadito di Nuovo il problema mi e stato suggerito di provare a cambiare stanza , adiacente a quella che già occupavo, e che quindi non ha assolutamente risolto il problema. Il manager dell'hotel si è scusato ma i "manager" dovrebbero trovare soluzioni o scuse tangibili...non sprecare parole... Pessima esperienza per una catena che fino ad ora mi aveva sempre garantito un certo standard

Nice central hotel, very clean and smart. Room was large however bed was like a slab of concrete. Swimming pool is tiny. For me the big negative was the breakfast fry. 500m from tomingate Soda cake country and they did not have it on the menu. The stuff they served was an insult to bread of any type.

Very disappointed, we would never spend so much on a room only but decided to treat ourselves over the Christmas break. On arrival we decided to go with the valet parking as there was no other option other then street parking or a public carpark across the way, valet cost € 30.00 for them to just turn the car around and leave it outside the front door all night, not what we expected for € 30.00 Breakfast was € 25 each which we paid and then after thinking about it decided it was too much, requested refund took about 20 minutes. No help with bags even with myself on a crutch. Room cold and outdated, serious draft at the window had to keep the aircon on at 30 degrees all night to keep the room some way warm. Mini bar fridge in room but empty. Most of the bar staff where polite but very slow and obvious they didn't want to be there. No toilet on the ground floor for the bar, had to go up the stairs to the toilets. Emergency exit corridor and stairs was cluttered with excess furniture, good luck if something happened and people needed to use the fire exits. Far from a 5 star hotel. Have stayed in a lot nicer 3 star hotels.

We were disappointed with the small pool for the kids, couldn't fault any staff member, room was outdated and dirt under the bed and sofa had stains on it, I was expecting more to be honest for a 5 star

The hotel was clean, neat and comfortable. The staff were good and professional but did not feel the warmth in their interactions. Breakfast was very good. Had dinner at the Brassiere at Terrace which was our highlight. A special call out to Arjun who looked after our table at the Brassiere, he was warm, efficient and cheerful despite being the only waiter then. The gym could be better.

Excellent location, close to buses, shopping and dinning. Having the executive lounge option was a plus since most of the cafes close early. Big rooms (8th floor) with a nice sunset view (at 10pm). The hotel also has restaurants, but we went out. Highly recommend it.

Very moderate quality hotel. The bathrooms were nice. Most disappointing was that the spa at the hotel did not return our calls to make a booking the week before, and when we arrived they said they were closing early for the day. And, the hot tub was very cold.

The cocktail bar in the Savoy is amazing - super cocktails and great service. I have stayed here a few times and I always think that the staff and the bar and restaurant are excellent however the condition of the rooms are not 5 star in any way. The shower temperature does not stay the same so can burn you one minute and freeze you next. The toilet does not flush properly. I had similar issues last time I stayed also.
