Gleich hinter der Grenze zeigt sich das hässliche Gesicht der tschechischen Hotellerie! Freunde haben mir zum Geburtstag einen Gutschein für das Hotel geschenkt. Obwohl Gutscheine mit monetären Wert per Gesetz mindestens drei Jahre gelten müssen, ist es der Hotelleitung egal und sie bestimmt, dass mein Geschenk ungültig ist. Nach mehreren Telefonaten und unzähligen E-Mails, nach der Erkundung mehrerer Optionen ist man stur wie der eiserne Vorhang und zeigt keinerlei Kooperationsbereitschaft. Selbst die Stornierung meines schon gebuchten Zimmers muss ich zweifach erfragen. Ich bin ernsthaft angeekelt von dieser Hotelleitung und kann nur jedem empfehlen, einen großen Bogen darum zu machen bzw. auf den hoffentlich bald stattfindenen Verkauf des Hotels an professionelle Hoteliers zu warten. Stay away!

Die Lage auf dem Berg ist einzigartig, für Hotelgäste Parkplätze am Haus. Fassade ist in die Jahre gekommen, Zimmer (Retro- oder Deluxe) renoviert, sauber und empfehlenswert. Das Familienzimmer nicht unbedingt. Es gibt auch Einzelzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad und -toilette. Frühstück sehr gut, Abendessen auch. Leider keine typischen tschechischen Gerichte auf der Karte, man versucht sich in High Quality. Ist aber auch sehr gut. Preise gehoben. Netter Empfang an der Rezeption, problemloser Check In.

My partner and I stayed here in a retro room and would highly recommend it. We spent a few days in Prague and caught the Regiojet coach to Liberec, really easy. Got a taxi to the hotel from Liberec, took us right to the door. Reception was very friendly and tolerated my poor attempts at Czech 😁. Internally it is as stunning as the photographs. I thought the balance of retro and modern functionality in the rooms was excellent and for an old building the maintenance was very well done. Views from the rooms and indeed out anywhere is stunning. You have a table reserved for evening meal and breakfast automatically in a different section of the restaurant to visitors. The food (recommend the Mouflon and Gingerbread Mousse) and wine were both excellent and you dine looking over Liberec. Waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. One thing that would have been great would have been a quick tour of the behind the scenes places, although I guess I could have asked and they may have shown me. Breakfast is a very nice buffet. I notice that when looking at the listing for this hotel it said "Similar Hotels Available", believe me there is nothing else like this anywhere. We are already looking to come again, it was that good.

We have been planning the stay for a long time, it was our dream to spend a night there in the retro room. And we were very satisfied. The place and the hotel's architecture is unique. What is more, we were lucky with the weather, which made the views even more beautiful. But the team and high level of the service is also very important. The prices are not low but all the team members were great, smiling and very professional. The breakfast was great, including even a shot of pear brandy. Thank you!
