Fortunately paid a reasonable price for this hotel. Sometimes you only get what you pay for. I was aware refurbishment was under way and it needs it. The room was a great size. The view out onto flats wasn't and felt I couldn't look through either window as I would have felt nosey( not that the location could be helped.) The thermostat didn't work. Having stayed in Premier Inns before I am familiar with how they work. The toilet took ages to fill up after 1 flush. I hope these issues will be addressed during the refurb. The rest of the room, no complaints. Following morning at breakfast was a disaster really. We were shown to a table with 1 chair and a pouffe! The mind boggles! I'm not young or very tall. I had to ask them to swap it and they took it away but I got my own chair. The chairs and tables, ergonomically, do not work. I hope this is part of this refurbishment. There was a big queue for breakfast and the supplies weren't matching demand. There was a warning about hot plates but I had to ask for a napkin as it was far too hot. My friend said her plate was greasy underneath. The lifts took ages to work. Could do better.
