福茲別墅水療飯店(Vila Foz Hotel & Spa - Member of Design Hotels)

El Hotel es un 5 estrellas de verdad. Situacion inmejorable frente al mar. El personal muy profesional. Estan pendientes de todo pero no te enteras. Palacete de epoca con parte nueva muy bien integrada. Decoracion con personalidad. Calidad precio excepcional. Para mi, el mejor de Porto. Desayuno excelente.

This is a fabulous hotel. It's beautifully designed, quiet and discreet and exudes luxury. Excellent restaurant. Apparently, it has a Michelin star, but I didn't have time to try it. The breakfasts are great and include fresh oysters! The ocean-facing rooms in the newly built annexe are excellent value. If you take a ground-floor room, you might not get much of a sea view, but you'll have a large sun terrace with loungers, which you won't get on the upper floors. The ocean views from the upper floor are fantastic. As they're west-facing, you'll see the sunset every day. If you take a non-ocean-view room, you'll save a bit of money but be looking onto the hillside behind. The rooms in the main hotel are luxurious and large. I was offered a choice, but I chose an ocean-view room in the annexe, which I'll do when I go back - because I'm definitely going back! I really loved this hotel.

Vila Foz is a beautiful hotel in Porto, Portugal, with accommodating hostesses, hostesses, and bar staff. John and Pablo will ensure your drinks are perfect and served timely and excellent conversationalists. They have a 1-star Michelin restaurant, but we couldn't get a reservation due to our short stay. I recommend making a reservation when you book the room to ensure a vacancy. I'd give it six stars, but the app doesn't allow it. It's worth the stop. I wish I had more time to stay here!

For someone visiting Porto for the first time, it has an ideal position if you want to see the Atlantic Ocean as well. The hotel is well appointed, with good facilities. There is an old well kept part to the hotel, along with a new modern part. The spar is also up to date, and worth visiting. Breakfast and dinner were both of a high quality.

The place is quirky. Beautiful and stuffy. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable The one thing that ruined pissed me off was sitting in the bar having a drink. We were by a window overlooking the park and water. We were asked to sit wherever we wanted. In about 20 mins a new young man appears in a dark suit saying that our table was reserved for someone else and we needed to move. Really? Our window seats were taken by a local young man who came in just after us and went into the other room. He sat alone for 20 mins fidgeting with two glasses of water at the table we abandoned for him. He left after 30 mins in a car. He wasn’t staying at the hotel. We were never apologized to or given an explanation. At first I was going to dismiss it but it really rubbed me the wrong way. I think the hotel is fine. If you are not Portuguese you may get sub par treatment. I’m not sure. But high class service doesn’t come with being booted out of your table before you even finish your drink. It left a really bad impression of the people working at this hotel.

Realmente una experiencia top: una antigua villa preciosa, magníficamente restaurada, en un entorno fantástico y repleta de detalles. Toda la experiencia es realmente excepcional: desde la bienvenida con un coctail (de los mejores que he probado en mi vida), te reciben en la puerta, la habitación está plagada de detalles de cortesía … todo es un 10. El desayuno también maravilloso (y eso que la noche anterior había cenado en su restaurante Michelin y no tenía mucha hambre): ostras, champagne… servicio en mesa combinado con un buffet en el que no falta detalle (y la fruta riquísima, que no siempre sucede). DO NOT STAY IN THIS MEDIOCRE HOTEL, IF YOU’RE USED TO/EXPECT 5-STAR SERVICE I stayed at the MANOR HOUSE GARDEN SUITE. ROOM: The carpet was not vacuumed or cleaned adequately. There was a lot of fluff all over the floor. This was particularly noticeable on my wedding dress - all the fluff and dark dirt stuck on it and it was stressful to clean. SERVICE: Below average. I had to call reception late in the evening to request a turndown service, as they seemed to have forgotten. Their idea of turndown service involved a member of staff handing me new towels at the door. They didn't even enter the room. BREAKFAST: Limited breakfast buffet of which none of the options were impressive. Service was incredibly slow and I had to wait for almost an hour for what I ordered. I also had to remind them of my order. MY EXPERIENCE AND STAFF PROFESSIONALISM: I booked almost two years in advance for a couple of nights during my wedding. I made this clear to the hotel from the moment I booked the room. Initial communication with guest relations was good - they were friendly, responsive and seemed to understand what happens when a bride is staying. I made the hotel aware that people would be coming to my room to help me get ready for my wedding. I would assume that it is widely known that brides want photos of every moment of their wedding day. However, the staff didn’t make me aware, in advance, that photos were not allowed in the hotel. Shockingly, I found this out as they told off the photographers for taking pictures outside my room. While I understand that guest privacy is incredibly important, the staff have to make you aware, in advance, that there's no leniency and no photos are allowed even when there are no guests nearby. The way the staff handled the situation was appalling. Mara was very rude and unprofessional. She had no empathy whatsoever. The hotel was empty - I didn't see any guests around, so I begged (almost crying) to take some pictures where there was no one, especially in the garden, and she visibly couldn't care less about the situation. What's ironic is that influencers are allowed to take professional pictures with a photographer around the hotel. At the end of my stay, the hotel staff didn't even ask how it went. We then asked to register a formal complaint and again not a single person said sorry to us. The least I would have expected was a drink on the hotel to acknowledge that they caused a very stressful situation, but we didn't even say sorry. Most of the staff, especially management, need to go on some proper training. The final nail in the coffin was that the porters kept staring at us trying to juggle all our luggage to our taxi, as we left the hotel. We had to ask for their help to carry our bags, and wedding clothes. It's clear that poor service is common across all staff. There were very basic things missing, such as cleanliness, professional staff and a satisfactory breakfast. I'm confident there are many other hotels offer

Atendimento pessimo e de muito preconceito com bebês. Na reserva me informaram que aceitavam crianças porém chegando lá meu filho foi privado de visitar as areas comuns do hotel, absurdo. Eu estava grávida de 6 meses e pedi tolerância e compreensão porém o hotel e principalmente a responsável pelos hospedes, sra Mara, foi inflexível e arrogante ao dizer que não podiam fazer nada. Sai de lá chorando e pedi meu dinheiro de volta porém queriam me obrigar a ficar uma noite pois alegaram não poder retornar o recurso. Absurdo, hotel mais preconceituoso que já fui!
