This place is way more than what the pictures show! My friend and I sat and had wine at the firepit while enjoying the music coming from the outside speakers. The Log cabin was larger than it looked in the pictures. The steam shower was an extra (unexpected) luxury. The breakfast (delivered to the log cabin) was excellent. The furniture was very comfortable and although we didn't make a fire in the fireplace, that was an option. When you walk in you're surrounded by a cozy ambience. I can't recommend Arrowhead highly enough. It feels like you're tucked away off the beaten path, but it's a short drive to town and area attractions. Would definitely go back.

Lovely inn - we stayed in the Cottage, which was a very comfortable and spacious room separate from the main house, with a front porch where a delicious breakfast was brought to us every morning. There is a delightful garden where you can read or just listen to the birds and nice common space inside the main house. The hosts - Ron and Stephanie - make every effort to meet your needs. Although the inn is about 20 minutes from Durham, it's off a main highway so it's easy to get to town.

Our room was lovely and very comfortable. We enjoyed the snacks in the room and the coffee/tea maker in the morning. Breakfast was amazing! It was delicious with beautiful presentation. Loved walking through the gardens. Service was impeccable. Would not hesitate to make a return visit.

The house is absolutely gorgeous with stunning tranquil gardens. We stayed in the Benson room, which was lovely, especially the whirlpool tub and the four post queen bed was one of the best sleeps I’ve ever had. The Woods were so sweet and we will absolutely be back.

Accommodations were great. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent. A perfect getaway.

This B&B is perfection, from the decor to the food to the staff to the grounds and landscaping to the attention to detail! Perfect for a girls’weekend, a small wedding, or anytime one has an event at Duke. One small drawback is the tiny staircase to the 2nd floor - with winding and being carpeted, it would be quite easy to slip. If you’re over 70, stay in a room downstairs!

This is an outstanding property and is run first class. My wife liked everything about it including a happy and pleasant staff and an excellent breakfast

This place is just amazing! Suites are stunning and have wonderful amenities. Bed sheets are pure luxury! Gourmet breakfast, outstanding hosts, and plenty of comfortable places to gather made this a perfect location for our small business summit! Local wines and brews/ales are available, service is impeccable, and the location is very convenient to downtown Durham. HIGHLY recommend!!
