Alpine Horn. Lady blowing Bavarian cultural mountain horn, originally used for goats. Breakfast included $25. Excellent food selection, plenty of seating, large windows with view. Pleasant courteous staff. Musical horn blowing at 8:15 and 9:15qm

We booked our stay months in advance, and after regularly staying at the Enzian for well over a decade, I had certain expectations of our stay that I look forward to. One of those being the amazingly, exceptionally delicious Bavarian Rolls they serve at breakfast. Our first morning there I went to the pastry table and noticed they weren't there. I figured since it's a slow time of year they may rotate them out and they would be there the next day. However, I asked a worker and they said they didn't serve them anymore, but she would talk to her supervisor to see what they could do. I can't tell you the extreme sadness and grief that came over me thinking that one of my favorite things about this Inn was no longer going to be an experience I would have. The next day I went up to breakfast and this time I got to meet one of the kitchen staff, Ms Lee. She informed me why they no longer serve them. (Thank you covid for destroying something else for our nation). The pastry that they used to make the Bavarian Rolls was no longer available. They tried a different pastry, very similar, but the baking time would not allow complete and thorough cooking of the cream in side without burning the pastry They substituted jam but apparently management felt that wasn't authentic. She said she thought they had some in the back that were frozen, and she would get them out and have them for me the next day. Now we're on the third morning. I went up to breakfast and there they were! I was so excited! Ms Lee came by our table later and brought some rolls that she had set aside just for our family. She asked how we liked them, and we said why don't they serve these? They're amazing! They don't have to be Bavarian Rolls, Enzian could serve these as their own special pastry. Ms Lee suggested the name the Enzian Rolls. To which I said that's absolutely perfect! And let me just say, yes it's not the cream filled pastry, but the pastry with the jam is very delightful and it's something I hope that management would seriously consider making part of the staple of the breakfast pastries at the Enzian Inn; to which so many guests have become accompanied to experiencing during their stay. Thank you, Ms Lee, for making my/our stay so wonderful! I can't tell you, with some serious family losses these last several months, the anticipation of having a few days in Leavenworth at the Enzian Inn was something I definitely needed for mental health and rejuvenation. But knowing that I would possibly never have those delicious Rolls again was devastating, but you made sure our family had that wonderful experience! Please, please Enzian management make these part of the staple pastry table for the Enzian Inn breakfast and call them the Enzian Roll as a fitting celebration of the years of hospitality and great customer service we've always found at the Enzian Inn.

Stayed 2 nights with my wife and 2 young children. The property is extremely warm and cozy. While it was cold outside, there was a fire going in the lobby, the indoor pool is heated, and there’s an indoor hot tub. There was also an outdoor heated pool and hot tub for those crazy enough. They have an indoor basketball court, full game room, and free equipment to use for certain outdoor winter activities. The service was impeccable and the breakfast was delicious with lots of options, delicious baked goods, omelette station, hot breakfast bar, fresh Belgian waffles, and they play the Alp Horn every morning. We had a wonderful time in Leavenworth and the Enzian was an absolute treat.

I arrived hours before check-in. My room wasn't ready, but again, I was there very early. The nice thing was I got the best parking spot in the lot. In the past I think they had free Seattle Times to take. I think they are just now putting a copy to share in the lobby, but I didn't clarify with them. The hotel is clear. I like the bathroom with good lighting and fancy shower. The shower head could provide a little better water pressure/flow. The bathroom had two sinks, shower and separate bath tub. I didn't use the bath tub, but it looked nice. The room could have had better lighting and better plug ins. The bed was comfortable. There were two nice bath robes provided. The towels and ammenities in the bathroom were nice. They have an indoor pool and workout room in the basement. There is an adults only pool outside and another outdoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast is on the 4th floor in a room with great views. They have horn playing a couple times during breakfast. The food is very good. While I didn't partake of it, you can get omelets made to order. The watermelon was good, along with waffles, compote, cream and everything I ate. In the evening they have a pianist in the lobby. There is free mini-golf across the street on a grass course. Staff have what I assume are traditional Bavarian clothing. I thought it really was a nice touch. This is a great place to stay and I hope to return.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The breakfast spread was amazing, the pool options were wonderful, and we loved the extra amenities like the game room, golf, movie nights, and live piano music in the lobby. The only minor downside was the noise from the lobby could be heard in our hotel room, which was a bit disruptive. As repeat customers, this was a new experience for us as we’ve never been placed in that busy of a spot (room 103 next to the public restroom and front desk) ). We tried to change rooms to ensure a quieter experience but were told it would be quite a bit more $$$. Despite that, our overall stay was enjoyable and we look forward to returning.

Last year when we passed through Leavenworth we noticed the extremely cool "putting course" which is apparently owned by the hotel. It is Mini Golf on steroids with real grass fairways and greens. This time when we passed through for lunch on our way to Seattle, we made sure to make time for this fun stretch of the legs. We didn't stay at the hotel, just got the balls and putters for it and paid the fees in the lobby. Highly recommended for a fun hour or so!

I have been staying at the Enzian Inn for years; it is my go-to place to stay whenever I visit Leavenworth. The staff is always so kind and the rooms are quaint and comfortable. I love the indoor pool with the beautiful mural on the wall. The highlight for me is always the wonderful breakfast buffet and hearing the Alporn - you can't get that just anywhere! Another perk is playing the championship putting course across the street which is included with your stay! I cannot recommend this Inn enough, definitely consider it, you will be glad you did.

We enjoyed our stay at the Enzian in a mountain-facing fireplace "executive" room. It was a fun experience having a four poster bed and being within quick walking distance of Leavenworth's Front Street shops and restaurants. The Alphorn music at breakfast was great also. Unfortunately the "fluffy" bed hurt our backs a little. One other thing at the great breakfast that could be improved is to provide plates that warmed, rather than ice-cold.

We stayed her for 4 nights for our honeymoon, cute hotel and clean. Tv is “smart” but we couldn’t hack into it, maybe a google stick would do the trick? Very frustrating to not be able to watch a movie of your choice. Other down side was this was supposed to be the best room, the tub was dated. The bed was cute and the pillows soft, the fireplace made it romantic. Breakfast waffles were the bomb, very delicious.
