貝格威爾特飯店(Hotel Bergwelt)

Wir waren als Paar vom 10. bis 17. März 2024 in diesem Hotel zur Gast. Schönes Hotel mit sehr professionellem Personal, ob an der Rezeption als auch im Restaurant. Die Mahlzeiten entsprechen dem, was von einem 4-Sterne Hotel verlangt wird. Wir hatten ein Sunneseita Zimmer das mit 35 Quadratmeter sehr groß war und mit Flair bemöbelt. Badezimmer und Betten Top! Nun zur negative Seite, und warum wir das Hotel leider nur mit 3 Punkten (befriedigend) bewerten. Als Sauna Freaks erwarten wir natürlich auch ein gutes und schönes Sauna Bereich. In diesem Hotel ist zwar der Bereich schön, aber hier herrscht totale Anarchie!!! Leider meinen manche Gäste sie müssten sich in der Sauna nicht an die Saunaregeln halten, und noch weniger an die Hausregeln. Die kommen aus dem neben an liegende Schwimmbad und sitzen mit ihren nassen Badeanzügen in die Sauna, oft ohne Handtüscher, und glauben sie sind auf einem Marktplatz so laut geht es dann zu! Die Beschilderung durch den Hotelier ist das absolute Minimum so das es niemand liesst. Schade, sehr schade. Mann lässt hier das Problem die Gästen lösen und das gibt natürlich immer schlechte Laune. Im Hotel Besitzer es zu melden nutzte da auch nichts weil in diesem Bereich kam sowieso niemand vorbei um mal Ordnung zu schaffen... Wir können nur hoffen das hier mal eine angemessene und passende Beschilderung angebracht wird, und mindesten zweimal pro Abend jemand vom Hause vorbei kommt um nachzusehen ob die Regeln auch eingehalten werden.

This was the first time we had stayed in the Otztal valley and we had a great time. We flew to Salzburg and hired a car (Innsbruck is closer but unreliable in the winter). The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the whole valley and all the resorts that are included in the ski pass. Obergurgl, the furthest south resort, was about 35 minutes away and Hochoetz/Khutai, the furthest north, was about 15 minutes away. We had a friendly welcome, check in was straight forward. The hotel was very clean. The room had a very faint, slightly unpleasant smell of drains presumably from the bathroom when we entered but this was quickly solved by opening the window. Beds (king and 1 sofa bed) were very comfortable and the room was quiet and warm. There were 2 utilitarian wardrobes with hanging space and shelves which was ample for the 3 of us. There was a large balcony with a north facing view of the valley. The food was excellent. Fabulous breakfast with a wide choice and a really delicious 4 course supper. A couple of blips: you are charged for tap water and on one evening we were served the incorrect meal having made a choice at breakfast time. The waitress was insistent that we had ordered pork rather than chicken but declined to show us our menu where we had documented our choice! For skis there is a ski room and heated boot rack and a ski prep area. We hired skis from Riml in Langenfeld who were very friendly and helpful and also printed our ski passes out for us that we had bought online in advance. The wellness area is lovely with a small pool and relaxation area along with 2 saunas, 1 steam room and 1 infrared cabin. An absolute must is a visit to the AquaDome which is just a few minutes drive away. We bought a flexible entry 3 hour ticket which gave us plenty of time after a day's skiing to relax in the wonderful pools, watching the sunset, before supper at the hotel. If you book through the hotel you get a 10% discount.

Das Hotel selbst könnte eine Generalüberholung gebrauchen. Schade, dass der Balkon des Zimmers Zugang zu allen anderen zimmer bietet (keine feste Trennwand!). Wir haben schon viele 4-Sterne-Hotels in Österreich besucht, aber dieses ist seine 4 Sterne auf keinen Fall wert. Das stimmungsvolle Restaurant war voller Fliegen, auf dem Essen, auf dem Buffet, auf dem Brot, ... es gab keine Möglichkeit, ruhig zu essen, ohne gestört zu werden. Das Abendessen entsprach sicherlich nicht der Klasse eines 4-Sterne-Hotels. Schade, aber es war ein einmaliger Aufenthalt.

Very nice hotel for family and couples. Great wellness, spacious rooms. Half an hour drive to the slopes in Solden, 45 mn to Gurgl. Skiroom with heaters. Good, Austrian food at night, complimentary küchen/kaiserschmarren in the afternoon. Free parking with charger for electric vehicles.

We left by accident skiing gloves in the room, and when returned to ask for them, the hotel said a cleaner did not find any. Very strange and a feeling of untrust. Unfortunately.

Hôtel fabuleux. L’accueil est personnalisé, les chambres sont spacieuses et décorées avec bon goût. Pour moi c’est toujours un plaisir d’y aller. La nourriture est comme le reste, extra. Y aller c’est être considéré comme un ami et non comme un client. C’est si bon!

Room was clean and comfy. Dinner was included with the stay and was amazing. Staff were very helpful and gave excellent service.
