Upon checking in - I was told i had already checked in earlier - i though this was a joke but then found out your staff had given my room to someone else with no connection to me. I was then told i could have the other persons room, I did suggest that the staff member contacted the other person but this was ignored. When ordering food, i ordered carbonara, i was charged for hunters chicken. When asking for a glass for my beer, i was told you do not have any. I then had to insist on getting a glass. The female chef was screaming and shouting for all to hear in the restaurant area, she kept on coming out with peoples plates, dropping them onto the table and calling for the other staff to 'set them up' assuming this means 'get knifes and forks etc' i was then approached no less than 5 times with other peoples meals asking if it was for me despite me already having a plate of food in front of me with the staff seeming quite untrained. This became apparent when they were asking other team members what to do (tills mostly). Service was slow and I actually felt bad for the younger (assumingly new) staff who will probably resent their working experience at this hotel in years to come.
